KeSPA officials go back to examine the MarineKing vs Zest series and noted that in Game 5, MarineKing was slightly behind of his opponent Zest, but when Zest disconnected and they resumed from the replay, they resumed five seconds earlier than they should have, and both players had quickly adjusted their play to what they had seen five seconds in the future. In that game, MarineKing ended up taking a lead and Zest nearly made an incredible comeback, but then MarineKing started lagging out. However, he managed to get back into the game with seconds to spare and held in convincing fashion.

However, KeSPA was not satisfied. Since MarineKing had taken a lead after the disconnect from Zest and eventually won, KeSPA ruled a re-game (2 hours after the series concluded). They ended up playing a really long game where Zest had just a few powered cannons and two blink stalkers against three damaged cloaked banshees and a lifted building. KeSPA rules a draw, and they play another game where MarineKing goes proxy 2rax against proxy 2gate in his main. Eventually, Zest takes the game and moves onto the finals.

Against sKyHigh, Zest opens with blink builds four times in a row, and crushes him 4-0.
