I've never updated a group bracket before. I think I got it, but it needs approval.

hey guys. im really interested in this tournament but the dingit player/plugin is a joke. the performance and quality are terrible. it was unwatchable - simple things as changing the volume level was sluggish and i am on a highend setup.
any suggestions ? why the hell do i have to download some plugin to be able to watch flash video ...? it is now asking to communicate with my pc..... no offense but i am uninstalling this crap.

Sorry to hear you are having issues!
What OS are you using? The player itself has been downloaded 130million times through various partners and only a small % have an issue, but we are happy to help debug it for you Since you are getting terrible quality, seems like you may be one of the few unfortunate people with an issue. (feel free to PM me if you don't want the information public btw)
As to why you need the player, it is because DingIt uses UDP rather than TCP as the streaming protocol, this allows a higher quality stream while using less bandwidth, minimizing buffering and massively reducing stream delay. Flash unfortunately doens't work nicely with UDP.

So i was watching this Tourney last season bit... Quality stream on twitch, some minor issues. I was hyped for the new season and was amazed by the line-up of players ... sadly i couldn´t watch more than 10~minutes of it until today. The stream just never loads and i only see an Screen showing the ASL sign and some sponsors. I tried connecting to the dingit website directly... even deactivated my add-block some commercial came and after that... just a gray screen. (Also every few minutes - the site pops up a window, asking you to sign up / in... which is more than annoying.)
Then i thought " i should give them feedback about my Problem".... but i have to have an account on their website in order to send feedback. An account i don´t need and which i won´t create just to tell them, their system isn´t working proberly.
Sadly i won´t be able to follow this really exciting tournament anymore.

Try on another browser, it worked for me after 1 hour 30 of waiting screen...

So... I just got home to watch... and the site says I need to sign in or sign up to watch. I hate to say it, but this streaming service is fucking terrible. Not that twitch is good, but this is just... awful.

the whole dingit thing has nothing to do with the quality obviously, it's about competition and breaking the monopoly but to be honest you guys should have come up with a more user friendly solution, i couldn't watch anything yesterday because of plugin crap and VoDs are not there, i don't know it would be, it's a crappy service to the fans of the actual progamers. I speaking for myself don't watch the streams for the casters, i watch them for the players and you are ruining the experience.

Anyone know where I can find vods? That "rerun" option on dingit is only 7 minutes long and its only the countdown.
