The prize money of a tournament is only very slightly relevant in comparison with the lineup of players. Given that Taeja has won tournaments like IEM Shenzhen and DH Winter and is now in the semis of Blizzcon after beating both of this season's GSL finalists, you'd think that the argument "lol na scrub play kr wtf" would die out.

First of all because he's a championship calibre player who you get behind because he's won more championships than any other player on the planet. Secondly, though he's won all those tournaments he still needs to win one on the grandest of stages. Third he's retiring after this; he's got to leave it all on the map. Fourth he's on team liquid, that's basically the home team in these parts. Fifth he's Terran, and many people agree Terran is fun to watch.
Don't get me wrong, MMA is also amazing. But I just can't fathom that someone can't understand why people are rooting for Taeja.
I'm rooting for the ex-slayers final myself.

Naturally. I think depending on exactly what Life has cooked up, Taeja might find himself eliminated 2-3 or even 1-3. Life told me he'd beat Zest and he did, then promised San would be easy and crushed him 3-0. If there ever was a time when Life was going to beat Taeja, it's probably now.

By the way even after I left the LR thread, I stayed up and even watched the showmatches. I feel like shit, but that's ok. Glad they start earlier today!

come on Life.... we need a miracle, stahp Taeja

why are people hyping Life?

Anyone else thinking that Classic has a really good chance now? He should be favored against MMA, and even vs Life or Taeja. Hell, a short call with Pigbaby and he is even favored against Taeja! :D

Toss winning will bring all the bad memories from the beginning of the year. Nothing against The Chin but simply can't happen

Wow, I'm kinda glad now that I didn't stay up for Taeja - Inno; You guys suffered through a hell of a lot of downtime due to a serious case of the technology not being there yet and on top of that some quite disturbing fascist worldviews.. oO
