This is an honest question as I don't see the benefit and I feel like Liquipedia is superior to other options Because of the way they do check ins with qualifiers, and that liquipedia takes time to create and they get their stuff from the bianary beasts.

Well the liquipedia post is created and updated, and there is still no link for it. Just seems dumb

Just seems dumb im sure if someone from basetrade saw your post they would go ahead and add the link to the liqui page? as for the brackets, liquipedia isn't a tournament bracket site, you don't really arrange a tournament on liquipedia, rather liquipedia mirrors the official brackets of other sites, whether it's binarybeast or ESL official or anything else. it's like asking why a site would use sources instead of just linking wikipedia; they don't have absolute control over the information on sites where they aren't admins of anything

But yeah. | ||

But yeah. Linking to the official brackets is the way to go imo. Because it's official, and they can control the information on the page. It's actually bad to have a bracket on Liquipedia only, because then it has no source to rely on. If anybody enters a result, we're just trusting them that it's true. That would be like if a fact was added on Wikipedia only, and that there would be no source elsewhere.

Liquipedia is awesome, and even casters and staff at official events will refer to it (possibly out of habit) but yeah, official brackets are and should be the final word. Plus, it can be a question of interest - if people aren't interested in updating liquipedia brackets (because of massive hype overdose coma, of course, never lack of interest in an event) they're just not going to be accurate.
