My prediction:

Zest > Soulkey
Reality < Cure
Cure > Zest
Reality < Soulkey
Zest < Soulkey

Cure + Soulkey advance. Zest starts to lose morale against Soulkey in their second match, whereas Soulkey looks better as the day goes on.

Well, I was pretty close... I figured Zest's prep would see him through one Bo3 but not the second. But I also thought Soulkey would "warm up" and he would feel more and more confident and Zest would be psychologically broken by the end. After game 1 of that last series, I thought I had to be right. Haha.

Honestly you had this if SK doesn't take so much unneeded damage from the warp prism in game 2.

And Zest fucked up game 1 big time. They should have reversed the results from game 1 and 2, and then game 3 for the decider is still there

Oh my God yes he did. Honestly this should have been 2-0 because Zest looked really solid in game 2 and Soulkey would have been distraught after another loss in game 1. But with the momentum Soulkey had unexpectedly gathered I really thought he could have made game 2 his with better awareness.

Yeah, that series was intense for sure. Cant complain about a 2-1 because a 2-1 wouldnt reflect how close they were in this game i think
Still, as a Zest fan i am happy^^

Yeah me too, the way he played in the first games really set my teeth on edge but I loved how he calmly played phoenix openings in the two following games, that was the Zest I love.

Phew it was closer than expected! As a Zest fan I'm relieved. Always fun to watch gimmicky plays when they win your fav player games :D Zest didn't show off all his cards here, he must be saving his macro builds for the playoffs.

Zest is up 7-0 in matches against Soulkey. Looks like only Rain has the antidote in SK T1 house and he doesn't share.

last two seasons it was winner of a vs second of b, second of a vs winner of b, so i guess they will follow the pattern. most likely they will play against the winners of group B

Good thing too, otherwise we might have quite a few more SKT teamkills.

Holy shit Cure is good. Holy shit Zest is good. The level of play right now is just scary. I took like an 8 month break from watching SC2, apart from the occasional game (which I always spoiled the result beforehand).

Great set of games today. That warp prism/canon moment by Zest was my favorite moment of the day.

Also think that Zest's Achilles heal is multi-terran drops.
why?

Assuming top players advance it's only one zerg in the Ro8. I'm hoping at least one of Effort/Solar makes it and we'll have a 3t/3p/2z top 8.

Effort will advance, believe me

Why is there such a consistent mess with the vods on twitch. Why do I pay 20$ so that half the vods aren't uploaded, and some vods even like to tell me I need to subscribe again.

I wish they used a round robin style. Soulkey lost to Zest twice. But maybe Soulkey would have beaten Cure like he did Reality.

There are 2 main videos described as "Ro16". One is always 3 hours and the second ~1 hour (depending on how long the games took). Those will always be uploaded and shouldn't spoil the results too much. The only time this didn't happen is in the Ro32 in Zest's group where they didn't upload the second video.
why?
