herO knew he was behind after warp prism fail. He went no upgrades to go quick storm. If he went for upgrades, the greater forces of Bbyong and his harass would make herO fall apart. herO need army.

If Bbyong just stayed back, let his better economy take hold, and went to ghost, he would of smashed herO with the better upgrades. Bbyong held all the cards, but didn't properly adjust

Wow, Bbyong's build order choice is... bold. Very, very bold. 3CC (on the spot, not inbase 3rd) with reactor helions. Just wow.

no thats just not proven, of course they are good, but GSL is a special tournament, you can prepare for your opponents

if you dont attend most of the tournaments around the world you cannot prove that you are the best

So more tournaments = better players. Give me a fucking break. GSL is special, but it doesn't mean it isn't the highest level of starcraft in the world and deserves to be regarded and rewarded as such. You DO prove you are the best by doing well in GSL

it proves you are one of the bests at one point in time.

see previous GSL Champion Classic, where is he? should he be at Blizzcon only cause he won one time a tournament with good players?

blizzcon is about the players who played MANY tournaments and are consistently good in most of them.
if you attend only one tournament, you just prove that you were good in those 2 month where it happend

only cause kespa doesnt want to play the game like all the other teams, they shouldnt get rewarded..

other teams fly their players half around the world, that costs money, its hard for the players, thats professional gaming.

not training all year for these 4 days where you are in the GSL studio

Well said. It would be very unfair to the people spending a lot of time traveling and playing in tournaments with different formats if the people who just spends all of their time practising for a few specific matches and don't do anything else than that got more points than the rest.

Classic only shows how top heavy points rewards are bad. Im talking about CONSISTANCY in GSL. That's what doing well is. Now I'm gonna leave this thread because a 0/0 protoss just beat a 3/3 terran and I've been banned too many times to get away with any more whine

the terran was 2/2 though

Yeah, the game was lost on 0-0 vs 2-2. Still hard to understand and would need a fine analysis of the game (not "blah storm imba blah"), but not as outrageous.

It was just herO defending very well and killing a lot of Bbyong's supply

By the way this is something that often happens to me in my PvT games. I see I'm 2-2 and the T is like 0-1 or even 0-0, so I fire 3-3 and think "ha ha, this dude will be sad when I'm 3-3". This is actually a huge mistake. You're 2-2, and should produce army/counter techs to make for the only thing he is bound to have an advantage. If Bbyong spends his money better (he floated a lot throughout the midlategame) and spends his money on ghosts instead of 3-3 I think he crushes herO. Easy to say after the onslaught ofc.

Well Terran needs to dump the gas into something and Upgrades hapends to be extremly good for gas dumping. Either that or just take SCVs out of gas, which you rarely do.

hmmm probably but he had only two ghosts for this fight right ? Seeing how early he knew herO had storm (and saw no upgrades) he has no excuses for that.

Well, I think Bbyong probably overbuilt Widow Mines against an army that could easily pick them off without them getting to fire.
