It really depends on how you define things. Since most people define it geopolitically you end up with different people arguing about what it is. If you define it linguistically islands are kinda screwed since they aren't part of a continuous landmass. I personally like a geological definition using tectonic plates but then you end up with a bunch of tiny continents that no one else considers continents like Arabia or the Caribbeans. | ||
