 Well done Stats (really grown to like him this season, he's been so underrated) and the somewhat-forgotten-man Action! Two huge wins. And of course, Flash has his biggest moment in SC2.... hope this fuels his fire for his upcoming GSL run. Well played KT... drop-kicking SKT on the grandest stage. Such a great rivalry. | ||

Also it is not only that it actually took lots of balls to do that in such an important match (2 things have to go right here: nex first and missed scouting), double proxy rax is also very bad vs toss and almost noone uses it, while protoss cheese is way more successful and it therefore takes more balls to proxy as terran. So you shouldn't hate hate TY for the cheese, but you can hate Classic for already having an advantage (huge map, crossspawn, Protoss lategame > Terran lategame) and play ultra greedy. 1 gate expand would have driven back TY and won him the game, but because Protoss is always so save he didn't assume that the terran could be aggressive before minute 8 BESIDES he does one stupid thing noone would think about: 2 proxy rax. Well that is a bit harsh, TY made a build order win, every terran on that level would have been able to pull it of with that late scout and with that greedy nexus first. Only thing that Classic could have done better is the moment he runs all his probes down the ramp, he was indecisive and moved back but should have sorrounded the first bunker and boosted out units. No matter how much he loses at first there were "only" 3 marines he had to kill with 15 probes and a zealot (6 probes left for mining, one was crossmap) but he then waited for the marine numbers to rise, which was his death (also making mothership core at natural, but at that point it already was too late) | ||

If every player was like "I WILL ONLY WIN GAMES IN MACRO" it would quickly become stale and boring. Personally i thought it made the ending pretty exciting, but thats just me. | ||

But hey, what better a time really to pull out one cheese in a match where the steaks are so high that the players are focused on economical builds while up 3-2. On the flipside, had Classic opened too defensively and TY had just CC first instead, he would have been in an awkward position that he may not have believed he could have won. In 20/20 hindsight, he should have taken that chance in the end with a defensive opening and played like he never played before. | ||
