Super bummer that KingKong didn't show. Gratz to the Dong but this isn't how anybody wants to advance.

Wow, KingKong is gonna be kicking himself about this later... doesn't show up to play Jaedong? I wouldn't miss the chance to play him for anything!

JD couldn't take the risk that KingKong would keep him out of Premier League so he had to eliminate the competition.

Aww Nate and Rotti vs Dong would have been cool

He dominated SEA weekly cups for a while and looked poised for a big break-out a few times but it never really happened. He left ST to become a chef in Australia. He then played SC2 on the side. For real?I hope he still goes by KingKong in his daily life, it's a pretty sick handle. Nah, in daily life he is known as "Sam." and he is pretty much the sweetest, nicest guy ever <3 KingKong is at TAFE right now and he takes his studies very seriously. His teammates have been trying to contact him but to no avail. Blame WCS America for only giving him a couple days notice for the match T_T I've been spreading taht he's a chef for years.........oops. He is, dw ^^

aw sucks to hear that KingKong no showed

This DQ is frankly a result of the disgustingly short notice that was given to all the competitors for challenger league. "Hey, here's your match, oh yeah it's in less than 24 hours, enjoy" is not an acceptable way to run Challenger at all.
|
It does seem rather silly that they couldn't find a way to negotiate a way around that, that seems like a major debacle.

Wow KingKong didn't show up, thank god I didn't try to stay awake to watch it live.

Exactly, KingKong had university classes on during his scheduled time against Jaedong and with such short notice it was impossible for him to reschedule and as a consequence was forced to DQ against him.
