I think he's very clearly shown that it's viable, though perhaps not polished enough just yet.
I agree with wolf. Even if this build is viable it seems very far from being figured out beyond catching a protoss off guard in a one off game here and there.
rather then looking at it just from the perspective that terrans still need to figure the build out, protoss players would have had very little practice against this kind of build compared to bio, and yet on average mech builds usually get absolutely recked by protoss regardless.

I did a BR instead!

Bbyong showing one of the most solid, obviously well-practiced and map specific Mech I've yet seen and it still doesn't work out for him. Pretty cool to see nonetheless

You can't expect us to follow your idea based on what we don't know, we obviously need more than that (I think Maru said recently that mech was not so bad vs protoss, that would be an example of "more than that", but still not enough)

If that was the case then why send out Bbyong at all? It's not like CJ Entus doesn't have other good players. And I don't see how it working better than bio for a player of Bbyong's caliber can possibly be a point against it.
