He's an overall solid player, not sure about his preparation (or his teams for that matter), much like Stephano, which makes them flourish in weekly tournaments and not with two month long tournaments.

Let's be honest it's usually easier to go to foreign tournaments and have a higher chance at winning many $10,000 first place tournaments than play for a month and have a reduced chance at winning a GSL against stronger competition.
