Well after that he lost the two reapers in the start he did not really do any big misstakes either, he had the margins on his side with the banelings on the third and a bunker surviving each time with minimal HP. Then Hydra overextended that last fight badly, he crushed the Terran army and extended out from creep. I think after the first fight there was like 160Z / 130 T and then he extended and was suddenly down 30 supply. Should had went home again.

It wasn't remnants, on at least two occasions he had a full Medivac but dropped only 3 Marines into the mineral line.
The idea of risking a Medivac and all unloaded Marines for the potential of killing 2/3 Probes with 3 Marines seems... not... that great...

I didn't get to watch the beginning of the game so maybe there was some early game blunder/setback which dictated the rest of the game that I'm now aware of. But to me Rogue put on a freaking clinic and that game was rather exciting, albeit not late game glorious.

It's just that in most languages the foreign forms are not commonly known so you don't usually use them, but they're correct (still depends of the language & the words obviously, but in general the latter stands). Thought Maru could've taken out the 5th base to the right after he has taken out Effort's middle base. That could've definitely put Effort in a bigger hole.
This effort guy is seems to be pretty good Amazing game, the BL-viper-hydra combo is fantastic. I think that Maru should have been more active in taking basis (he never even attempted the base on right top of his part of the map) and dealing with harass and that's what basically lost him the game, but other than that, pretty amazing game.

EffOrt actually makes some great calls during these. He marches a sizable slug army around Maru's 4th to buy time to tech to broodlord, gets cracklings to harass Maru when hes busy attack EffOrt's 5th, goes SH to defend when Maru is gaining momentum. Lastly, EffOrt is not so keen on attack Maru at the end since he knows the terran is gonna be starved of resource. gg

Maru blew away the game twice: first, opening with stupid BO. Second, letting lings runby and destroy his natural. It was a pain to watch this game. He denied all future wins for his team and really disappointed.

SKT hasn't been able to talk shit since the sc2 transition. Rain sucks in the playoffs and so does half the team at random. Hopefully this round will give SKT some ground to stand on.

Yeah except it might be more like SKT and KT are Vegeta (the crown prince fanta) and Goku (a child prodigy... 2 of them actually) respectively. I wouldn't mind KT being Vegeta... but with the skills we've whooped SKT this season... we'd have to be Goku atm. Mwhaha.
Just watched through all the VODs, sad I didn't stay up for that now, was an incredible match!! Really nice job by effOrt in managing to take the win there too, definitely didn't seem the favorite. Congrats to CJ, and just great to see such a close, awesome series there!
