This. Bomber didn't scout. I like him, but that was the mistake that cost him the game.


Oh come on. It comes down to protoss deciding to do a build order because he knows it is 12 repaer expand or maybe cc 1st on big 4 player maps 99% of the time and the rest is up to the terran. If you manage to scout you have a chance of winning, if you don't you straight up lose. Protoss has little to worry about.

Early game should be neutral not favored for any race because it sets the pace for the rest of the game. And the early game TvP is just very unforgiving for terran, reducing the problem just to scouting when you are watching pro level players is such a dumb argument.

Even if Bomber went for a 12/12 reaper expo to have better scouting he would still behind against a player who went for a nexus 1st build. 12/12 is not really economical build, especially compared to nexus 1st.....

Yes, you can get a better or worse end of a build order in any matchup but TvP is specific because terran is forced to go into 12/12 basically every game, you don't have much choice about it.

With the exception that you can kill a good number of probes easilly, and have a long time of full scouting...


You missed my point. Protoss going for a nexus 1st is a calculated risk (it is a 4 player map, he wont scout me in time etc). It is a choice. Terran is basically forced into 12/12 because it is only reliable way of scouting.

I was cheering for Alicia. I still remember his amazing DT plays at MLG, and I don't have much of an opinion about Bomber.

he's always been kind of under the radar, I think? I can't remember seeing him in an especially rememberable series, which is kinda sad :/. gl to him though, I think he won't make the finals.

Serious question: Why does it matter, who people cheer for? This should be the best players, not the most popular. People will complain a bit about their favorite losing and then go on and call teh next round "so stacked" because of players like Alicia. Ofc. Bomber is equally good, but at this very day Alicia was better. Life goes on. We should prefer good but not neccessarily popular players we have over a possible scenario, where Destiny, avilo and Spanishiwa are seeded deep into tournaments because people want them to.

Stop lying. Once I went 4 nexus before gate and a terran had the guts of proxy 2 raxing me. Despite being pretty good at micro (and he not microing at all) I didn't manage to hold..
