Dude you should have been in the live crowd like I was. You could SEE the crowd being crushed as slowly but surely there were only a few of us still cheering. So much butt hurt. The air was so thick with it you could almost see it.

Well, PvP CAN be great (Group C GSL) but yeah, most of the time, the matches fall flat. And strangely, I think Bo7s actually bring out the worst is PvP. Since players have more games to play with, they can gamble. Look at sOs, he probably thought 'hey, I can gamble on game 1 and see how it goes'. Then he wins game 1, now, he has 1 game in hand and can take another risk. I think in Bo3s, the protoss tend to play 'safer' because no one wants to go down 1-0 and have to come back.

In 16 finals games he has produced about 2.5 interesting games.

Also, those 2 are probably some of the most decisive/aggressive players in game right now, so they make TvZ snowball even more than normal players. For example, after killing those hellions, a lot of zergs (not all) would just harass with mutas and terrans takes the 3rd while zerg takes 4th and while the zerg is in the lead, the game doesn't just end and the terran can comeback with a great engagement.

I laugh when people say they have a superior grasp on balance just because they're professionals. Some do for sure but others...... They're just as prone to irrational balance whining as the rest of us.
