Just not seeing CJ take this. Maybe if Hydra gets lucky with a first win and gives them so momentum, but I don't see that happening. IM has been stepping up their game also.
The more I look at sh the more I think they should be used as something to transition out of when you get an advantage, but I can't think of a single way that works.

Historically Yonghwa is actually one of their best players but he totally sucks lately. I thought it was just in pvp, but with his recent throw against Maru and this I guess he's just down for the count.

No more of him for awhile I hope
Yongwha had a few bright moments back in WoL but never delivered on the hype even back then. Don't think I've ever seen him play a decent game since HotS though.

That game against Maru... he could have literally have pressed F2+A and won for at least 5 minutes... yeah that a horrible throw.

He all-killed AA in the playoffs of GSTL looking good and looked decent going into the OSL, but after that...

Hero and Life.
Both are in Europe ;o Or would only just be back maybe?
Totally forgot about that. Could still have some Mvp, he seems to be in shape.
Yeah Mvp is definitely able to beat anyone in proleague.

you really think he can beat anyone in PL?
I think he is top 10 terran for sure.

As much as mvp isn't that great any more it would actually be kind of hard to find 10 terrans with better results. Well I think it says more about terran than mvp
I can't dispute the quality of the games, they were amazing, but the racial diversity of the brackets left something to be desired in terms of match ups.

He did well @WCS and IM sent him out as their ace, and they have a deep, talented lineup. Theres plenty of evidence that points towards Mvp being in shape.

If you didnt notice, there is a unit cap, switching units means killing off his other units and that would invite the mech army to just steam roll him. No terran above diamond would be stupid to let a zerg switch tech so obviously.

NovaMB mentioned that Terran could just float a building and attack, and that is what would have happened. Byun would have been forced to try to base trade or fight the army head on, both of which are not going to go well for him.

That too. But the transition would already kill him. Just explaining since he seems like a new zerg player.

In BW, this was being fought with mass expanding and recalls into production whenever terran moved out. I think that's what zergs have to do against this, mass expand + nyduses into production while making cost innefective fights with SHs/burrowed roaches to stall the terran army and slowly chip them away.

Recall is much faster than growing a nydus...
Nydus can't get killed by turrets and there are no spider mines in terrans base at least.

how do you even get a nydus off? To get vision to start the nydus, you have to get something through the turretwall. Which either means your nydus costs you 10 or more overlords + 100/100 - and can be stopped by single spawning unit, yes, even a spawning viking that gets landed. Or you need to invest into mass muta to begin with that kills the turrets, but then you won't really have the army to attack through the nydus, given that you NEED swarm hosts too to not get 1a-ed.

Too easy to kill nydus. A handful of workers is more then enough to kill it, plus from terrans point of view, it seems like he covered all the fogs of war in his base

I wonder if just making the armor scale with ground upgrades would help at all, cause at the moment they are sooo squishy it's unreal

And Nydas is by far the coolest "unit" in the game, would love if it got used more often, even as standard. Would be action all over.

My idea has always been to raise the gas cost on the Nydus Network and outright REMOVE the gas cost on the individual worms.
That way they're still easy to shut down but with less investment required Zergs feel more comfortable at least attempting them.

As good as Warp Prisms not costing any gas imo, which I always thought was a bit shit considering their utility.

Well, it's not like protoss players didn't have to get arbiters through in order to recall. And as someone suggested, at least no spider mines.
And as far as units are concerned, cracklings kill buildings really fast.

Ahhh,,,but workers cant kill arbiters! A nydus can be killed! lol, all it takes is 12 workers to kill one nydus before it builds finish. I tested, so with the amount of overlords killed, the high percentage of the nydus being destroyed before it even finish, that equates to few zergs using nydus. I would take arbiters over nydus anyday

I didn't catch the whole game, but Effort had a lot of Mutas and could actually kill those units from Trap, Trap had very little anti-air and majority of it was Sentries.

Yeah, I think he could have sacked his third with all the Eco damage he did. At least he needed his MSC in position if he really wanted to engage so he would have time wrap as well.
If mvp loses 3:2, both skt and mvp will be tied for fourth, does that mean there are tiebreakers between the two of them on who goes to the play offs, or is there another week before that?

That was the correct decision, yes. He was already up 6 colossi to 3 and it would only have gone in his favor even more as time went by. Hush hit a very specific timing (the same that Rain did in GSL vs Parting on Daedalus) that doesn't leave you in good shape if you can't break their army or do so much economic damage (while taking none yourself!) that you force them to go all in, defend the attack and win.
Squirtle's counterharass did enough damage for him to sack the third, keep making colossi for a short while, rebuild the third and then look for a big fight where he of course does have to do damage to continue on. But taking that fight down the ramp is a great way to lose D:

Yes that one
You haven't got a single placing right so far, maybe it will all fall into place though by the end.
What did you predict?
Rofl, you can't try to brag about predictions when you got them all wrong, then fall back on that sort of passive aggressive shit.
It's not passive aggressive shit, it's an actual question. Besides, the prediction was for the end of the season and it's coming together somewhat.
Well I didn't write a blog about it (mainly because I have no clue how to make my own blog), but the order in which I thought it would be is:
1.) mvp - a combination of blind fanboyism, and that drg is the teamleague monster of sc2. With his victory over innovation I saw the potential for a return to form drg, which frankly is beginning to happen. Coupled with that, is keen super and dream.
2.) jin air - If I'm being more honest with reality, this is the team that I think has the highest concentration of skill out of any team, as well as the most bullshit protoss player on the planet. Both of which are conductive to winning a team league.
3.) Kt - this is interchangeable with 4), which is skt. In kt I see years of coaching staff honed to absolute perfection. Flash may not be the stompiest player of sc2 yet, but he displays moments of that, usually in team leagues. In last season the team scored highest of those that remain, and the combination of ty stats flash and myunsik is very powerful, and hence my ranking puts them there.
4.) SKT - this is interchangeable with 3) which is kt. Like kt, this is a team which has absolutely perfected coaching over the years, and it shows. They may not have won last season, but they did come second out of the teams that remain, and in that process snapped up the arguably best zerg on the planet. They also have a list of protoss that are terrifying in the current world of sc2 - rain and parting, both with opposing styles, and both with tournament results to back it up.
5.) CJ entus - With the coach which is arguably the best in the world, this team should be higher up on the list. Yet when I look at the players on it, I can't help but feel somewhat underwhelmed. Effort and hydra should have made a splash by now, herO is picking up steam rapidly though, and maybe by the end they will be higher.
6) IM - This team didn't have much going for it before st joined, and now that it has, it still doesn't have a huge amount outside of a trophy cabinet. There two most recognisable players Nestea and MVP are well past there prime, yonghwa and squirtle don't create the same incredible performances, a lot of there players with so much potential aren't even on the team anymore, and in the end they will rely on curious, hero and life to carry them through. I don't think it will be enough
7) Samsung - A team of mostly zergs now, in an age of protoss. Roro can only do so much, their top dogs jangbi and stork are either playing a different game or not adapting, and realities playstyle is filthy.
8) Prime - Opterown and lorning must hate me, oh well. This is a team which probably has produced more skill then any other, and yet they have the remarkable ability to lose it all. If they kept maru, polt, ryung, and byun on there team they would be rated far higher. Yet they don't. They are also (out side of creator) a very terran heavy team, which is awkward in the age of blink stalker all ins.
Those are my predictions, not much has changed since this season started, except IM 8th and samsung/prime were one higher, and it's not at all accurate to reality
1.) mvp - a combination of blind fanboyism, and that drg is the teamleague monster of sc2. With his victory over innovation I saw the potential for a return to form drg, which frankly is beginning to happen. Coupled with that, is keen super and dream.
