He seems less enthusiastic about the game these days, and then there's the thing with his wrists
You can only micro vs banelings + storms for so long. Mvp has given up on that completely by going mech vs Zerg + scv pull vs protoss.

I didn't follow SC2, but I guess blink all-ins are similar to BW hydra busts in nature, but can't be fixed by map tweakings.

No matter how bad my dislike of the state of Protoss gets, I just CANNOT dislike Liquid_Hero Lol, with the way he won Bogus at IEM Cologne, he should really not talk about this. Why not? He goes on to say that protoss does it to win. He wants to win too. Why the hell would he not use blink? He can use Blink 24/7 if he fancies. I just don't want to read a hypocritical tweet about that afterwards. how is it hypocritical? he didn't tell other people not to use it. being hypocritical is failing to practice what you preach. he's only preaching that he thinks blink is too strong and not fun to watch, which is an opinion he can have whether he uses it or not (using it is part of his job)

Hypocrisy = stating your opinion. I see.
So when he played in WCS America and said "from a viewer's perspective, having so many Koreans in WCS America may be boring." was that hypocritical too in your opinion then? He's being honest. But he's also a professional player and he'll do everything it takes to win - as would you. Stating that what you use yourself is too strong... is hypocritical?
We've got different opinions on that one for sure.

+ Show Spoiler +On March 16 2014 06:42 WTCO wrote: Not trying to cause any issues here, legitimately wondering why Terran players don't get Stim earlier? Tech Lab and then a 100/100 upgrade doesn't seem very expensive? The reason is the same as why you don't see protoss players build a forge before a gateway in TvP. having an upgrade faster is useless if you don't have enough unit to defend you during the time your getting it and your production takes a big enough hit that you wont have enough units to use it effectively when you get it.
Cutting a reactor for tech lab means Terran is halving their early game marine production, and their are builds that if they don't have enough marines to hold they will straight up die to, such as oracles which takes at least 6 reins. since t already build a reaper which takes almost as long as two marines to make and then get an expansion t just does not have the rein count or money to buy production to adjust their marine count so they have to reactor.

I wasn't watching back then, but people seem so angry and disgusted nowadays, just wondering if it was like this in the past. It was never this bad. There was anger during the days of GOMTvT and BL/infestor, but there is a level of disgust now that is unparalleled in the history of the SC2 community. Yes, it was definitely this bad with Zerg. Not so much Terran, because Terran's dominance was due to the really high skill ceiling (so we saw some awesome plays, and TvT is undoubtedly the best mirror), but people were fucking PISSED in the days of Z dominance. There was no high skill ceiling when people were complaining about 1/1/1, scv all-ins, 2-rax, pre-nerf emp, and BF hellions. No but abusive terran strategies got nerfed to oblivion usually within a very acceptable timeframe. Nowadays it takes months for the balance team to admit that there is a problem and even if they do, they are afraid of actually taking drastic action. I don't know for how long you've been following SC2, but below are a few of the things Terran had to contend with within the first few months of WoL: -Siege tank damage going from 60 to 50, to 35+15 to armored. -Reapers gone from overpowered unit to least useful unit in the game -Bunker build time increased a couple of times -Reactor build time practically doubled, cost increased -Stim research time increased by a lot -Concussive missiles had to be researched -Increased barrack build time
And yet Terran still dominated for at least a full year. You act like these things were not necessary.
