Post-nerf blink all in still pretty strong, but at least PvP is the better of the three mirror matches IMHO.

Only people who aren't experienced with the build should criticize it.

Not so much Terran, because Terran's dominance was due to the really high skill ceiling (so we saw some awesome plays, and TvT is undoubtedly the best mirror), but people were fucking PISSED in the days of Z dominance. There was no high skill ceiling when people were complaining about 1/1/1, scv all-ins, 2-rax, pre-nerf emp, and BF hellions.

I think for the most part, the hate didn't boil over because most of the OP stuff got nerfed relatively quickly (rightly so). I mean, can you imagine the backlash if 5 rax reapers won 4 straight premiere tournaments? Winfestors, GGlords, the marine anecdote (2 marines walk into a bar.. no counter), patchzergs and so on.. These things all show how hostile people were. But now it's about the maps not the units. And as always most people watching don't really get what is going on and go with the flow and bash races when they lose on ladder, even though it's just prolly cause they are bad(anything under GM and high Master)

Cybernetics core would make more sense from a design perspective. Yeah, I've posted about this on Bnet before and on the previous balance map Bnet thread. I may try again when the next patch comes out and hopefully it gets some attention. If anything, I think the MSC has too much utility with three spells right off the bat. Moving TW to Cybercore and making it a cheap and short upgrade would also add an element of tech choice to P.

MSC being attached to the nexus or at least tethered with enough range to be able to cover both main and natural would make it even better in PvP while weakening protoss aggression against other races. That was the original design after all, not sure why they abandoned it except maybe for entertainment value but I find watching 2 base blink in almost every TvP quite the opposite of entertaining.

Protoss is the most played (and Terran the least) on both Battle.net and professionally (gaps are pretty small, but they're still there). Well I guess it could be, but that's coming off of what i see in LRs (the race icons near the posters) as well as FPL (when you submit your team, you are automatically assigned to a group of either 'protoss players', 'terran players' or 'zerg players'. Currently there are 1749T, 711P and 503Z).

Compared to herO who used blink six times recently I think he has the right to criticize.
