Okay calm down folks, stop balance whining or the bans are going to get long. |

Fuck everything, I'll go drink some battery acid now or something. Lol. JD is so terrible with his consistent top 4 finishes. He never learns how to play decently. Must be hard to be butthurt all the time. I'll never understand this devotion that people bring over for JD from BW days. Lets list all the tournaments JD has won shall we. Asus ROG Numericable M-House Cup HyperX 10 year anniversary. Its pretty lol worthy to compare him to HerO. WCS NA S1 NASL S4 DH Winter DH Winter IPL Fight club MLG Summer quals IPL Season 3 qual 1. FXOpen Invite Not to mention that HerO actually plays in PL and Jaedong plays in .. well nothing really. Not even GSTL. I like how you pad that list with two qualifiers & a fight club win, and conveniently leave out all the semi-final/final finishes for a player who consistently reaches them (over 10 in a year) or that JD did all of this (besides HyperX) in one year where HerO did that over 3-4 years. It's not just devotion from BW, JD is actually one of the best zergs from 2013 in his own right, and one of the most accessible pros at that. I get why people like or dislike him, but discrediting him as simply garnering attention from BW is just silly. Flash had a bigger fanbase going into SC2 and it's pretty safe to say JD's fanbase now eclipses Flash's. Well said, sir.

Polt had some time to rest, and HerO still looks kinda stressed from last game. If I were to judge from their mental states, I'd favor Polt here.

How have you convinced yourself that you're anything other than being very obviously more disgusting, by wishing for our unhappiness, than anyone here who is upset about something that happened in a game? You can has introspection?

If Polt can react well to cheese he has this final. If he was able to win against Rain in macro games I dont see him losing to HerO.
|
Why? Why should JD be able to make mistakes at the very highest level of competititive Starcraft versus a race and a strategy where little mistakes matter a lot...and still win? Because it's "fair"?
Because different races shouldn't be allowed to have different strengths in an asymmetrical RTS game? Because different strategies with different strengths and weaknesses shouldn't exist? Because micro players should never be able to beat macro players?
Hero won with skill. JD lost using skill, because he made mistakes. THIS IS HOW THE GAME IS SUPPOSED TO WORK!

Please make the scene a bit more enjoyable for yourself. It's better with players who have this built-in tragedy and comedy in their fandom. Like Bomber (unless you're Wintex). They take losses so much better. You'd think Jaedong fans would be in a similar place by now instead of expecting him to win every tournament and blaming balance when he doesn't. This is the Blizzcon finals all over again.
Oh fuck off. Even writers on TL believed Jaedong was the superior player at BlizzCon in terms of mechanics and decision making, but was defeated by purely from cheese. Do you really think sOs would have won BlizzCon if he played this matches straight up? He just exploited the power of his broken race.

I'm sure you'll find its the JD fans who are mad

exciting game or not, does anyone actually like that immortal sentry is still a thing? i love hero, but games like this just make me hate protoss design so much.

it's sad because i love liquid and hero, but i don't think i can ever root against polt. he's just too adorable.

Getting out micro'd by hero after doing a 3 hatch-gas-pool opening says he is worse than Hero. The results show that he isn't in the same league.
outmicroed? Spamming forcefields with 10 sentries isnt micro. Microing immortals, that take forever to kill to begin with, in to a warp prism isnt impressive when you consider that was the only unit he was microing. He lost so many stalkers and sentries in bad positions. The only thing I can think of that was impressive was his macro tbh. Ive seen many protoss do that build with alot better micro.

Wow, this has been an awesome tournament. Couldn't ask for a better finals, I think Polt should be slightly favoured here but it's going to be damned close.

This is the Blizzcon finals all over again. If hero didn't 4gate/cannon rush every game except the one jaedong 6 pooled on people might respect the result a bit more. A 15 minute 'all in' sure makes people happy though thats for sure
Like I said, Blizzcon finals all over again.

Without people like him, this game, this tournament, this website would not exist. Hate all you want but players like JD built this fucking scene with their hard work in a cramped apartment for shit pay over years and years.
People respect him because he's fucking earned it. People like him because of what he's done, and for the awesome memories he's given them. Unless you were there, you will never understand.
