Mouz seem pretty bad at organizing their ATC matches, only played 3 so far, which they have to play, so don't see them playing this until that is over.

Will be pretty cool to see what Leenock, San and especially Has come up with on these maps.

I expect that once Yoe gets some games scheduled, they will be surprising people in the 2v2s. They're 5-0 in the ECL, the Chinese team league, and they haven't lost any 2v2 matches yet with their team of JoJo and Hui.

New lineups announced. MVP vs Axiom looks ridiculously sick.

I have to say though I would like to see more of the Korean titans but that's probably not realistic because Kespa teams are all about Proleague and nothing else. Yeah the kespa Koreans are all about Proleague to the point where their actual sponsors are not ok with them playing in anything that competes with it.
That's sad especially considering Coach Park said he hoped that CJ would be able to play things such a small leagues throughout the year. Hopefully after Proleague the Kespa teams will be open to them competing.

Yup that's my hope too. I am currently building bridges with Kespa for that very reason, as well as to get them involved in other events that they wouldn't otherwise consider. We are making progress.

Awh man Kespa level preparation would bring a whole new level to it all. I would love to see TY pull out some crazy builds.
Also just curious TB, have you considered using less notable teams or are you trying to keep a high level of play across the series. I am wondering because I know alot of teams with good players that would work very hard to have a chance to win that money. Given the Bo1 format for 1v1 it could produce interesting strategies and cool upsets. Any thoughts on that?

Generally people don't want to watch less notable teams and they show worse games.

This news makes me very excited. I hope it comes off.

Thanks so much TB for working so hard to make SHOUTcraft so awesome.

I should probably expand on it. It creates more stomps and makes it much harder to create a good variety of Clan Wars without effectively segregating teams into tiers. We already have teams like ROOT and IvD that are struggling to beat other American teams, let alone Koreans. The EU teams are kind of an unknown quantity because they haven't bothered to sign up for any events for like 2 months but outside of that, getting teams that are even less accomplished is just going to result in more stomps and mismatchs, particularly once the Europeans get back into the game and teams like Yoe Flash Wolves start signing up.

Glad to see the clan wars have a pretty good reputation. The Korean teams currently in shoucraft clan wars do really seem on the ball about getting in matches. Would be cool to see even more players take part. Hopefully some of the foreign teams that haven't scheduled many matches start being more active

Ahh you didn't need too. I was pretty convinced with your first reply but thanks for expanding on it all. I am not sure which teams you write too but I was thinking along the lines of NRS(welmu's team) and even MC's bounty hunter team for this as well as the more amateur teams. You explained it pretty well though.
Oh on a side note Suppy and kane had an interview posted about them on one of these threads and they mentioned you encouraged some friendly BM or banter between players to add an extra cool aspect to the games. They had mentioned it would be nice if this was done before the game and posted several days before hand so that people will be waiting to see who comes out on top after a bit of smack talk. As Kane had pointed out you dont really see this banter unless you were already watching the stream. Just something interesting that you might now have seen and I could go find the video and time if you are interested. Basically the Thrash talk could build some add hype to the showmatch to get more people to tune in as opposed to already be watching to get hyped.
Just would like to say I love watching these matches and along with proleague its my favourite team league and I am so glad Axiom are playing a bunch of terrans vs MVP because I could use some terran inspiration :D

That is really awesome. When PL ends, i know i'll be watching this more actively. But seeing that KespA have interest is making me even more pumped !

Well MVP and IM are KeSPA (now) and StarTale has a partnership with IM for Proleague so there are definitely inroads being made there. It's not like there are pure b-teamers playing either: DRG, KeeN, Billowy, Sniper, Life, Curious, Hack, Squirtle, Trap, ByuL - these are proleague-caliber lineups sometimes. It would be really good offseason training for them for sure.

There ya go, some goddamn lineups for ya.

Noticed one error in the dates.
According to the times on MLG, the match up between Startale vs MyInsanity will be on May 17 (today) at 17:00 EDT (11:00 pm CEST) and not tomorrow. The fact that for some reason the list was not chronological made me suspicious and at least according to the MLG schedule, that match is today.
Edit: On the front page of this thread, the date is correct. It was just confusing for me to see another date inside the thread.

Your contributions to eSports are absolutely amazing. Shame on me to have found about you only at the end of 2013. You're an inspiration to me, if I will be able to contribute to eSports half as much as you I will be happy.

Legend playing for Startale? SICK!
Also GJ to TB for running such a consistent and well-produced clan war! Have not really been able to catch much due to a slightly more busy schedule lately but it is really cool to see that SHOUTcraft is making waves in Korea and even with KeSPA teams!!
