On February 22nd and 23rd, the Dutch StarCraft League will host their very first tournament of the year: the DSCL Spring Invitational! 8 of the best Dutch StarCraft players have been invited to play in a fun and competitive environment, and of course the whole weekend will be streamed. So clear your agendas and join in the fun!
The event will feature some of the best up-and-coming Dutch players:
- Sjaak
- Jona
- Harstem
- Optimus
- aGaham
- Hephaistas
- JayPower
- uThermal
We aim to make the invitational as much fun as possible for both the players and the audience, and to let the audience get to know the players. You’ll be surprised at the level of talent the Netherlands has to offer.
The players fight over a €600,- prize pool, and have to go through a group stage on Saturday and a single elimination bracket on Sunday. The broadcasts will start at 10:30 GMT (+00:00) on Saturday, and at 10:30 GMT (+00:00) on Sunday.
Update: There will be a BarCraft at the event! Visitors will be able to sit right next to the production and the casters, and see and hear the stream as it’s being made. Of course the players will also regularly appear to interact with the audience, and we’ll make sure there’s punch and pie  . Entrance is free (but donations are very much appreciated).
Make sure to sign up for the event on Facebook, so we know how many chairs to put down!

Bad-ass update: the 'BarCraft' has been moved from the Sportcafé to the actual event itself, and is now FREE to visitors! No excuse not to come to Nijmegen this weekend now
