Same! I was rooting for Jaedong in the finals but I was rooting for Scarlett in all her other matches, she performed well in all 3 match-ups and she definitely has what it takes to win there (:

I just realized that in order to break EG curse you just need to come 2nd 5 times, resign and with the next tournament

Jaedong either showed consistent improvement, or consistent good play for a hell of a lot of the year, happy for the guy.
Shame PL is likely to be without him and SK next year

Really proud and impressed by the way she played and her composure.

Someone get Flash on speed dial, maybe the Ultimate Weapon can save us from the oppression of a Tyrant.
This post is awesome well said

The only time I didn't want JD to win the tournament, he actually does. meh it could've been such an amazing storyline if he actually won something like BlizzCon or DH Winter.
Whilst the production may have not been top notch, it was an entirely new venue and a new setting, so cut the production some slack, it may have been the first attempt for a few of them, I'm sure they'll give a much better showing next time!

I think the most amazing thing about this win for Jaedong was when you think back to how bad he was when he first started. There's no way I could imagine him being a serious threat when I recall his form during T8 days. Really happy for Jaedong, I hope Scarlett stays full-time in the scene. Her progression has been just as impressive.

JD looked great, should be very happy for himself. Not the most impressive tournament, but he seemed to be getting closer to his BW level. Looking more and more like Flash will never catch up. Military is getting closer and closer though, Korea needs a new dominant player.
Not even EG can buy JD's way out of service.

he's been demonstrating patience more and more even in the other tournaments. In either case he's on the right track and hopefully his work ethic can negate the good practice players get from participating in PL.

I don't understand how anyone could be so petty as to not be happy for the winner of this. Both people were so deserving. I may have been cheering pretty hard for Scarlett, but seeing the look on JD's face as he won was enough to melt everything inside me.

Really well deserved, so happy JD finally clinched it. But man, some people really need to chill, the amount of but-hurt in this thread over the last couple of pages has been hilarious.

Mad props to Scarlett also, she knows how to play the game
