TakeTV admin told iG's coach that their remaining matches are all canceled, I thought they are still (kinda) in the race for a spot in next season?

cancelled? Well, that's weird. if iG win the last two matches, they still have a chance to finish 7th instead of 10th and grab a spot for next season. They can send Millenium or compLexity out and force them to re-qualify.
I really don't understand...

I could imagine the following scenarios:
a) The info is wrong
b) There is no next season - doubtful, TaKe was optimistic that there would be one in interviews
c) One of the teams ahead of iG does not participate next season/disbands - not unlikely (even if that was the case, iG would need to place ahead of Empire-Ence)
d) No relegation of teams this season - doubtful: number of teams is good and there are many good other teams that didn't qualify
e) Improper intervention into the league

According to TakeTV's admin iG's remaining two games against Mill and coL are all canceled, no further reason is given.

As far as I know iG didn't forfeit, TakeTV's admin informed iG's coach that the regular season already ended in November so their remaining matches won't be played as they have nothing to do with playoff spots. Yesterday Adelscott also told Edison that his team told him the games won't be played.

a lot of confusion, but first of all we have to say it´s a pretty unfortunate situation.
The explanation is pretty simple:
Like the rules, the season "Starts in calendar week 37 [Monday, 9th of September, 2013] and ends cw 47 [Sunday, 24th of November, 2013]" Because of the HSC the teams got some extra days to play. The last two matches were just simply out of schedule and therefore result in a 0:0. It´s pretty unfortunate for sure and we hope and next time all teams try to play there matches in time.

Well.. at least we now know... I still think you should communicate way way more than what you do. Write newws on your website or on this forum, I'm pretty sure everyone forgot about this rule and time limit.
is there a way to communicate with admins from TakeTV? Everything I tried (twitter, irc, pm on taketv, pm on TL) result in no answer at all

hmmm i dont think iG had anything to do with the HSC....so having the teamstory cup matches getting delayed because of the TakeTv's Homestorycup is iG's fault?
is there no TakeTV Admins in contact with the teams and scheduling? Why did the TakeTV admins have to wait until the minute of the Millenium vs iG match, to tell iG to forfeit?
teamliquid, liqipedia, ATC fans, we all knew of the date of the iG vs Millenium match, yet TakeTV admins did not know?
