Just look at how many countries are boycotting this, which are usually in every single WCG. Finland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Ukraine, Netherlands and I could keep on going. Guys, just face it, WCG is dead.... | ||

I was the judge and organizer for sc2 in our local wcg tournament.......hmmm....come to think of it at least SK will have an easier group now @OP : He plays protoss if you want to update , and this is our flag ffs  Zerth ???? WHO THE FUCK IS THAT ? I didnt have a single player with that name , and the guy who came in 2nd was a protoss named Kenshin......who the fuck is that guy ? OMG ! I just read the pdf.......now I remember him XD | ||

As for this year, the SC2 tournament is SUPPOSED to be BO3 in the round robin (I added supposed). Will try to confirm it ASAP. It s nice that players from smaller (esport wise) countries get to participate. It highlights that particular scene and perhaps will help it grow. It s sad that other countries choose to boycott it. WCG is and always has been criticized for his format (OMG only 3 Koreans? was a common critic in 2004!, so stop pretending like it s changed! It s just that there wasn't many big worldwide tournaments back then). Now I agree the coverage is pretty bad (euphemism) and has to be improved, but honestly I really hope it does, because it s a nice tournament! On a side note: Go Sora!! do it for CJ! EDIT: it wasn't clear in my post: I dont think WCG is THE big tournament of the year, but it still nice that it exists | ||
