It's not that they aren't worth it when you have them - it's just that more and more pro Terrans refuse to go into lategame fights with Protoss, and it's impossible to hit those sick 170-200 supply timings with overwhelming numbers when you're dumping money into the Academy, proper upgrades, and the Ghosts themselves. Plus the time to build them makes it so that you're skipping a few cycles of Marine/Marauder which makes the overall army smaller. | ||

Ghost vs High Templar dance is very annoying and is a slow paced game that allows Protoss to just get that killer army. Plus EMPs are more of a luck shot than anything else. | ||
