Even if you sac t fourth, Dear has shown he isn't above just waiting there and having his warp prism just kill you instead so Jaedong was in a bad spot. He needed to split is queens and infestors in a better ratio, but it was too hard and he lost his SH. He lost his swarmhosts because he sent them to the THIRD ( a very clear and depressing action) allowing dear to just kill them. Between saccing the 4th and keeping your whole army together at the natural it is obvious what is the stronger choice. The loss had nothing to do with making roaches he lost the moment he sent his SH to his third giving Dear the opportunity to shit on them. Yes it's a hard sitatuation to assess obviously but it's clear that was the wrong decision... You send the army to the nat, you lsoe the 3rd and 4th with nothing gained back. When Dear hits Stalker collosus with cross spots WW, Jaedong wil never get across the map ever again. If you gather the army at third, warp prism kills you. The roaches were just a panic response, but the comp by Dear was fine when you consider all Jaedong saw was double stargate phoenix. You don't lose the third - you send the army to the nat and attack as a unit, fungalling with the infestors to keep the deathball from moving back and using the queens as utility damage. The wrong decision was literally moving them right up the ramp instead of back into the shelter between the nat and the third. This doesn't stop the warp prism. And Dear is good at just dancing at the edge of attacking so you can't say he'd overcomitt with his main army. Anyway I'm stoppin here, I missed Polt vs sOs for this argument. That's nice, I'm sticking with the thought that not losing all your undefended swarmhosts and saccing the 4th (while killing the warprism and recouping) is better than...losing all your swarmhosts and the game.
