It's a slim difference, but it's not the losses that affect Naniwa - it's the things around the losses. If he loses from a position he feels like he should have won from, he tilts. If he loses due to being outplayed or being in a bad position due to inferior build orders, he doesn't.

Explain to me Leenock vs Naniwa in MLG 2011 please

There are more Naniwa than Hyun fans here I think (edit: 7:3 ratio). For my part I wouldn't have been happy, while I am happy now. At the same time I would also have blamed Naniwa for going 5 times in a row three hatch before pool: I would have been 'angry', but I would have been 'angry' at Naniwa for playing too damn greedy. (Of course not actually angry, not that serious about it).

I'm sorry but f*ck me, Naniwa is fearless. What an ending to the series.

Really? Sure, Naniwa is the fan favourite as the foreign hope, but Hyun is pretty damn badass. Had he 6-pooled I'm sure there'd be a lot of praise for a ballsy and clutch decision.

I really think Naniwa's mentality has become a lot better over time. he still gets mad occasionally, but he is much better at staying calm and focus on the game regardless of agitation.

The Naniwa today is far stronger mentally than the Naniwa of 2011.

Now how much more viewers does the IEM stream get because of a foreigner being in the final?

No, it was ballsy because it was a fucking proxy in the deciding game

If it was the other way round everyone would be moaning at the cheese instead of wanking over how 'ballsy' and 'innovative' it was. Cheese is cheese. Well done Naniwa it worked but let's not overhype it. Naniwa didn't trust his ability to take on HyuN in a normal game so he cheesed. And it worked.

I hate the term "normal game" - there are no "normal games", cheese is just as normal as macro. Foreigners seem to have a deeply rooted hate for cheese, which really makes little sense.

It is not hate, its an excuse. Always an excuse. Especially when he beat him in 2 macro games just before.

You seem to be perplexed. Why is this, brother..?

NaNi outplayed HyuN on both fair maps. Not sure where you're coming from here? It was so much "ballsy" as it was "HyuN went 3hatch before pool every single game".

I'm I crazy, or would a proxy oracle 3gate just completely crush 3hatch before pool every single time?

That was AWESOME of Naniwa, especially in game 4!

And HyuN just deserved to lose, opening 5 games in a row double FE.

Naniwa deserves every single bit of hate that he gets. He's a bad sport and has a dickhead personality. His only redeeming quality is that he is good at StarCraft but I judge people on their character and Naniwa is rotten to the core. He is bad for esports and the scene.

Naniwa is the only reason why I (and i believe many others) am watching this tournament today.

Yeah but Jaedong was a pile of shit for 6 pooling Scarlett in the deciding game. No foreigner bias exists.

It was equally ballsy when Jaedong did it and just as ballsy when Mvp proxied Squirtle in g7.

Nothing beats the balls of Mvp during that game. Man, I still remember the intensity.

Yeah, one of those is the deciding game in a Bo7 GSL finals and one isn't.
