The surprising standings table leaders face each other!
Who would have thought that after the first season, for which Western Wolves did not qualify and Quantic barely avoiding relegation, these teams would be the prime candidates for reaching the playoffs?
* = ace. Last player on team can be chosen from the entire lineup, even if the player was eliminated before. ♠ = joker. Player that is not part of the team's regular roster. Only one joker can be chosen per season who is eligible to play the entire duration of the season.
I guess if WW wins this then they are almost certainly in the playoffs. it would be 5:4 stats worst case then... thats if they lose 4 in a row after that. only in a weird draw situation i could imagine that they end up on 5th place because of bad map scores.
Does anybody remember the very beginnings of NsHoseo, when people would look at the terrans of the team and say: "there are two good terrans on the team, one of them is really, really good and the other isn't bad either"? The "not bad either" was jiakji, but who was the "really really good" one? I think it was either sculp or sting, but I don't remember which...
It was Sting. Sculp didn't really gain any notoriety until later on when he beat Symbol in that really long game on Terminus. A lot more of the hype for HoSeo early on other than jjakji was more for their protoss players, though, with Sage being hyped to no end and of course San being there and Tassadar actually making a Code A final.
With Sting stepping it up now too, I don't think anyone can stop the Western Wolves in group stage. Sting, San and Check all playing absolutely fantastic
How can you be GM on Korea and execute so terribly a 6g... Sting had only one bunker and most of the SCVs were repairing themselves at the beginning of the attack.
On the one hand, I want Sting to take it all, on the other hand, I wouldn't mind seeing some of the foreign players on WW. Maybe Hyun should now almost reverse all-kill WW, with Sting winning the final game when the series is tied 4-4.

I kinda feel the same way but I'm also a Daisy fan so I want to see him play :D But we almost never see the non-koreans on WW, it'd be cool to see what Starnan can do (don't know so much about how good Ziktomini is).

He just started University in September
I haven't seem him competing in a while though. Did he even play in the qualifiers of WCS EU? He didn't play in the only two recent SC2 competitions in the UK either (ESET UK Masters Season 2 and epic.ELEVEN).
Also nice to see Sting get some results finally, it's been a while since he won IEM last year!

It seems he played in the WCS AM qualifiers but lost to Tassadar :o

There were some talk about him in the LR for the season 1 qualifier. Think he didn't show up for the three first but played in the fourth.
Wow, I thought Quantic was dead when HyuN went down to Sting, so I went to play a few games of Dota, then HyuN is about to reverse it in Quantic's favor.
Impressive seeing how HyuN took all the disadvantages he had and turned them around deftly to take out the win. When he was behind on upgrades, he would defend, push on Check's third to deny his economy and concaved better. When he saw pure Roaches, he knew he could transition into Hydras smoothly. The legend of Hyuntic lives on!

Oh well, Hyun is amazing, and WW could afford a loss. gg Quantic.
I believe San could have been sent out (not 100% sure on this), but because HyuN and San have IEM in the same bracket in a few days, maybe San is looking to hide his builds and styles.
