I think a large part of it is that underdog victories are seen as exciting, but we rarely have Korean underdogs (no one is going to fly them out, and they will never succeed in a Korean qualification). Also if we know something about the player's personality we tend to root for him (not really relevant here, but often we know foreigners better than Koreans). In addition in this case game 2 was probably the most interesting. | ||
