1- Players may not use 3rd party Add-ons.
2- Players must provide their own Battle.net account with an active Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm license for the North American (NA) Region, or Europe (EU) Region.
3- Players may not use the Windowed or Windowed (Full Screen) Display Modes.
4- Players must be registered EQ Cup Tournament members on n00bgaming.com
General Rules
1- The latest official Patch version will be used throughout the Event.
2- In the case of a Computer/Monitor malfunction, the Game will be restarted from a confirmed time in game that each player agrees to. If a player disconnects and does not wish to continue the game the replay will be reviewed by officials and the non-disconnected player may be awarded the victory.
3- It is the players responsibility with the Higher League Placement to host and start the game. If the host starts the game without the appropriate handicapping in place the game is forfeit. If the game is not restarted the host player will be given a loss and the guest player will be given a win.
4- If both players are of the same level then the players may decide who will host the game. Whoever host the game will still fall under all rules in the above stated “General Rules: #3”
5- In order to dispute Game results, Players must notify the officials that they would like to Protest the Game. The reason for the protest and any evidence to support the claim, replay submission is required by the complainant.
6- The player that wins the game is responsible for submitting the replay to EQ Cup Officials, via the EQ Cup Replay Uploader on n00bgaming.com
8- Game disputes may be submitted by either player, winner or loser.
9- You may not advertise, spam or provide links in any game chat. This will result in a forfeit and possible disqualification from tournament.
10- All players must be currently ranked on the 1v1 Blizzard Ladder, for the current season.
11- “SMURFING” is illegal and will result in disqualification from current season, and possibly all future seasons of the EQ Cup.
12- Players with Multiple Accounts must use the highest placed, Current Season Ranked, account on the Server the match is hosted on..
Gameplay
1- Pausing the game is allowed but excessive or suspicious pausing may be sent in for dispute and a player may be disqualified.
2- Players may not chat in-game unless they are engaging in pre-game sportsmanship or surrendering the Game.
3- Players must disable Toast Notifications in the Battle.net options.
4- Players must set their status to Busy.
5- Breaking any of Gameplay Rules #2-5 may result in a Forfeit of the Game.
6- Any sign of cheating may result in a Forfeit of the Game and disqualification from the tournament.
7- A player is not allowed to play Random Race. Terran, Zerg or Protoss must be selected before the game begins.
8- Only EQ Cup official may observe a match. Any other observers will result in a forfeit of the game. EQ Cup Officials are: Agamemnon, FuriousGeo,HappyApple and JustinSaneSC.
9- If all Minerals on the Map have been consumed and no Units or Structures have been killed for 5 minutes, the Game will be considered a draw.
10- If a player refuses to quit or leave a game and the player that is ahead has requested him to do so. That winning player may leave and submit the replay to EQ Cup officials with a description on what happened and that player will be awarded the win. 11- The player that lost may be disqualified from the tournament. Eg. Terran with no army floating buildings.
12- If there is any indication of macro’s being used in game and this is disputed by a player then the player using macro’s will be disqualified.
13- Using known bugs and cheats during gameplay will result in a forfeit and disqualification.
