I'm just not sure. That being said Maru seemingly have fallen to almost textbook case of OSL curse.

But yeah Bomber's builds were tricky and ruthless... throughout the tournament. Throwing in the occasional cheese, varying up his builds from map-to-map, with great macro standard play to back it up. He definitely seemed to have more smarty map-specific strategies prepared than most other players in this tournament in my eyes. And that preparation was most evident when he had a ton of time to prepare for the group stage... when he totally breezed past Grubby and First, and definitely looked like had some TvZ tricks prepared for the knockout stages with his already great TvT to fall back on. These days, being one of the best in your respective race's mirror matchup goes such a long way in making deep runs in these weekend tournament. Innovation may have the best TvZ in the world but doesn't count for shit if you don't play against any zergs. Was hoping Jaedong would pull this one out, but Bomber definitely deserved it, that was not an easy road in the knockout stages. Taeja should also be really happy with his result, he looked so dominant this weekend except for a few instances where he slipped a little in that 2-3 series against Bomber... he's a beast and still in good position in the overall WCS points standing (top8).

"You're the champion, so I'll tell you this. To be honest, I drooled on your pillow while sleeping, and I ate all of your dried fruit and told everyone to eat your ramen. Also, I think your computer's broken, and all of your ramen and instant rice got eaten. You're the champion, so I'm letting this go!!"

Alive doing so well was quite a surprise, he was so damn close to beating First and getting the the Ro4... still, he continues to rack up those WCS points quietly (heh invisible terran). And Scarlett had a really nice run. Losing to the eventual champion in the Ro8 in a close series, massive props there. Her ZvT has to be currently the best in the world.

If I'm a new player trying to get into Starcraft, this isn't all that exciting. Yeah it's pretty much just you. When you prove to the world your a better player, that's usually considered a GOOD win, and it is very exciting to witness.

To Bisudagger, Bisu is way ahead of Flash even though Flash always wins their series XD Bisu beat Flash in the winner's league finals and the PL finals when Flash looked unbeatable in his vP. But I made this statement earlier and I think it frames the situation well. It's like telling a shaq fan that they are anti micheal jordan I can love one of the greatest for his position (shaq) and still have respect for the greatest of all time (Jordan). Which is why I have no qualm about saying Flash was the greatest BW player ever. But Bisu was the greatest protoss. I agree, but do find it a little troubling that the best ZvTer in the world, Scarlett, lost to a Terran who's weakest matchup is probably his TvZ. This goes for Bomber as well as Alive I think.

I'm sure it is complete and accurate depiction of the history of BW and their accomplishments all compiled into the decision making of that list and not just based on how certain players won enough games in a row to top that list.

It's your right to think that this evidence is inconclusive, but to think that your home made list somehow trumps it, and to call people fanboys over not believing in your perfectly subjective list is foolish.
