This is the description from liquipediaPremier Tournaments offer an outstanding prize pool, are frequently played out offline, and feature the best players from all over the world. They are commonly held by well-established franchises and are considered especially prestigious amongst the community.
Looking at it on the premier page, http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Premier_Tournaments , I guess Code A did have a prize pool comparable to early MLGs, Assembly, and not too far off IEM Also, aLive and Bomber became the 18th and 19th players to hit $100,000 in earnings with their results at this tournament.
Guess JD practiced JvP so much he forgot everything else.

Bomber never won a premier tournament in Korea. Code A wasn't one back when it was separated from Code S.
but... but... Code A is even harder then MLG or Dreamhack ? no ?
It's harder now and it's still not a premier tournament.
The old Code As are listed in premier tournaments on Liquipedia though.
http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Premier_Tournaments Hmmm, that's rather interesting. Maybe he does qualify for it after all.
It shouldn't. That's like saying that a football team won a title after winning the second division.
Any tournament with Bomber playing Mvp for the title is pretty far from being merely D2.

Of course he qualifies for it. Code A is much harder than foreign tournaments. Look at how few foreigners have ever *made it to Code S.
*Got
invited to Code S. Just to keep the record straight.
Indeed, only Idra, Huk and Jinro actually qualified for it. Which is even less than "few". Bomber deserves the triple crown.
the code A Bomber won was harder to win than the Code S in the same season.

More than that even, let's see if there's any familiar faces in the RO8: MMA, Bomber, Alive, Ryung, Coca, Keen, Violet, MVP It was an insane tournament.
lol I managed to miss both this event and the semi even though I check TL everyday. First time for everything.

How about Naniwa then ? Didn't he make Code S a few times aswell ?
i just finished watching the semifinals. Is there a reason why First choked so hard? he seemed really off his game the entire series. from the not spent chrono to the doom blink it all seemed like he wasn't quite on the top of his game. does anybody know? btw: sick g3 taeja v bomber. And bomber got awesome banshee control!

He was seeded. Then he made Ro8 twice and was knocked out in last place in his group in GSL 2012 S4 i believe. After that he was eliminated from GSL completely.
Is it safe to say Bomber is now at least top 2? I'd put him in the #1 spot.
God granted jaedong jvp powers at the expense of his zvt powers because he now looks freaking awful in zvt. Maybe one day, Flash will be merciful and return his zvt powers.
Top 10 favourite pros: MKP, MVP, MC, Nestea, DRG, Jaedong, Flash, Life, Creator, Leenock
Jaedong, master o' silver.
It was so beautiful how Bomber revisited classic marine tank to utterly demolish Jeadong in that last game. ;D

He was so far ahead, he could pull scvs and win anyway.

Mana technically qualified for Code S because he was seeded into the up and downs

That was arguably just bad-manner. xD "Hey I only have to win one game out of the next four, I won't go bio/mine this game and instead go Tank/marine teehee" Nah, Bomber deserved to win he played TvZ perfectly.
