Winning 3-2 is decimated? We will never know but it would have been awesome to see Scarlett against those guys with how she played this weekend. Hope she keeps that form going

Games would've probably been closer and the storyline of foreigner in the finals would've made it much better for me at least. Old story: they should have trained harder and played better. Scarlett might be the second best player in the world. She barely lost to Bomber. I wish we could see her play Taeja. How does that even make sense. Do you believe Bomber ist he best player in the world? :x Not to mention that a close-loss to him doesn't make you second best in the world... Taeja also lost close to him. Also 2nd best? :x It was the world championship finals. Winning it gives Bomber a good claim to be the best player in the world. taeja and inno both have better TvZ and at least taeja is better at TvP. it's really only TvT in which bomber is better than taeja and inno, which sucks when they meet head to head.

One tournament does not a #1 on the power rank make - Confucius any talk about who's the "best player in the world" is just people posting speculative opinions anyway, even when innovation was so successful it was kind of a stretch to act like he was 1000x better than everyone else but that's fine, the discussion is just for fun as long as you don't take it too seriously. but yeah, there's no "best in the world," just best recent results ![]()

He won over Grubby/First/Scarlett/TaeJa/Jaedong. That doesn't make you the best player in the world, regardless of the people that participated. Maru won OSL over INnoVation, Rain. Sora beat down SoulKey, Curious, Bomber and various others at WCG Korea. Its stupid to say he's the best because he won the WCS season finals

I have a feeling that if Bomber had actually pulled out that triple bunker on her on Planet S, she'd have gone down just as quickly, if not worse than Jaedong (ok fine, it's hard to screw up worse than sitting your 5 range queens on low ground). And she keeps letting hellion packs in. What she does seem to have are stellar mechanics and a pretty good knack for picking engagements. lol it's too bad soulkey wasn't here with Innovation getting taken out in TvT and TvP, SK would have taken the championship with ease. With ease? Soulkey was beaten in ZvT by Supernova. You think Bomber or Taeja couldn't have done it? On this stage? Without weeks of prepared builds in between? Yes I think SK would have beaten them. Oh don't get me wrong I give Soulkey the edge, but I think "with ease" was the statement I wanted to dispute.

SK lost with 6 pool against rax 1st, then won in some bizarre game against meching SuperNova (<3 him for that) and then lost to bio-mine rally IIRC. No prepared builds in fact, except mech.

While Jaedong seemed only strong in PvZ and ZvZ, only getting lucky by having no terrans on his way to the finals.
