If Sora wins:
* Longest winning streak in a major Korean SC2 tournament in history. The current record is Squirtle's fourteen in a row back in 2012 GSL Code S. It was broken by Mvp in G1 of the Grand Finals.
* Second player to win a major Korean SC2 tournament without a dropped map. The only other to do this was Nestea, back during 2011 GSL Code S July, where he went 13-0 and did not drop a single map the entire tournament. Curious also went a perfect 13-0, but it was during a Code A season back in 2011.
* Possibly the longest winning streak in SC2 Korean tournament history, but I am not 100% sure. I believe Nestea and Squirtle share the record for 14 games in a row.

In all the great Zerg vs Terran rivalries, the zerg very rarely wins.
Boxer v Yellow was dominated by Boxer; Flash v Jaedong was dominated by Flash; Mvp v Nestea was dominated by Mvp; MMA v DRG was dominated by MMA; It's only natural that Innovation would dominate Innovation v Soulkey.

He's a CJ B-teamer who came out of nowhere to sweep 7 players 2-0 including Bomber and Soulkey to get here. He's pretty cool.

If PartinG wins... Won't this be back to back championships for this tournament? He better climb back up the power rank!

But hey, Parting vs Sora. Let's do it!
Also Innovation vs Soulkey continues to be just a running rivalry. In almost every tournament, they find a way to meet.
and also soulkey somehow shows a very admirable play vs innovation yet innovation still stomps him everytime aside from wcs code s 2013

well not true at every case .. their was flash vs life was dominated by life .. but thats just it .. the rest are true .. somehow on the highest levels of play .. terrans have a advantage over zerg .. is it the great-micro capacity ? probably more reasons than just that

Parting beat Innovation and Sora beat Soulkey? The fuuuuuck?

I know Sora is an amazing story and all, but doesnt his game against PartinG means basically nothing? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the top 3 in this qualifier make it to WCG. Therefore the finals is literally nothing more than bragging rights and the actual important match is the one for 3rd place and the final seed into WCG. So shouldnt we be focusing on the awesomeness of another really important INnovation vs Soulkey match?

Yes that's true, but a b-teamer possibly going undefeated vs all these great players shouldn't be ignored either and that's why it's grabbing more attention initially, but by the times the games roll around tonight almost everyone will be giddy about the inno v soul games and forget who Sora is.
Edit: my post is assuming you're correct.. I'm not 100% sure that this game means absolutely nothing.

soulkey please win this time

Considering the Korean qualifiers have always been harder than the actual WCG Finals? I'd say it's something even if it's WCG s;
