for anyone that watched, how was the crowd? why wouldnt he keep the best player in the world as #1? O_o crowd was good. The key word here is "clean-sweep" So what, one series doesn't mean he is no longer the best player in the world. It goes basically like this: -Soulkey is one level above everyone -Innovation is only one above Soulkey Therefore #1 and #2 right there. And it is actually not arguable, from the games and the sheer dominance they are showing in 2 hardest league in all Starcraft (so WCS KR and Proleague), there is no one and I mean no one better then them. Yes, I don't really like it, since I don't like Innovation's style too much, but there is no way around it. I will agree that Innovation is still the clear #1, but Soulkey is by no means a level above everyone else. He's insanely good, naturally, but #2, #3, #4, #5 for me are actually hotly contested and not completely clear-cut. Rain is 2 or 3 imo

Was it the SPL finals that we wanted or some really stupid mindgames that we hate watching?

was a good series, sick game 5

That Soulkey vs innovation game made me pretty despondent about the state of Innovation v Z, but it seems like Soulkey missed a ton of opportunities to flank. He kept chasing Inno down the ramp and gave him as much room as he wanted to kite and split, I think he could have taken the engagements better if he swung around the side and sandwiched him a few times. Still hope!

Most of us really enjoyed games 2, something and 5. Those 3 in particular were really good. The others had their moments but weren't on the same level. All in all, I'd consider it one of the three best matches of the season.

IMO SK is fairly clear-cut as the best zerg. Just Innovation really has his number in TvZ. Think SK should be a shoe-in as #2 or #3 top players.

On the other hand, with whom can you practice Zerg vs Innovation?

Yeah, I would have to agree that the problem is more, you're not going to practice with anyone that plays like Innovation so each time they face it's a completely new obstacle. You can only resume from replay so much to practice. XD

SK practiced with Flash before the GSL finals. However, it seems like Flash doesn't have the same level of understanding in the TvZ and TvP matchups as Innovation, but mechanically is just as good.

I think Flash has a different style than Innovation. I believe he said it sometime back.

He's 17-2 since losing to Life in MLG finals. And he had played Hots 2 days for that tournament.

In SC:BW there was an option to play one side by two players. That's how BoxeR practiced some matchup (TvT?) before his first OSL. Obviously this way his opponent had pretty much perfect Macro and Micro (two progamers playing together one side) and was always beating him but that would make practicing against INnoVation possible. I wonder if you can do that in SC2 (maybe custom map?)

I can't believe I'm saying this myself.

Soulkey says it was MMA who helped him prepare for the WCS KR finals by trying to imitate Innovation.

Flash has a similar style to Inno in TvZ but Inno's micro is superior.
