Bogus def has the same case as Flash arrogance. Remember the period Flash was a monster in BW but would play predictable without scouting vs lesser opponents? Seems like a common thing among high level players.

its boring because they're build order losses, hardly any macro/micro involved. ya he deserves the win, but it's boring to watch because there's very little the other player can do.

This has nothing to do with the skill ceiling, it's "just" the absurd coinflips issues of TvT.


It's not an absurd coinflip three times in a row if you go for unsafe builds or miss scouting everything. Innovation looks a little bit lost, though Maru is inside his head with a sledgehammer as well. Innovation may have been on the receiving end of some bad luck, but no way was that the deciding factor all three times.


it has nothing to do with scouting. innovation scouted normally as any player would've done. there's nothing he can do about random proxies. maru could've placed his starport any fucking where on the map. it's the plethora of early game tvt builds that players must defend against that is causing the problem. only game that innovation fucked up build wise was game 3. should've not went cc first.


Bullshit. He checked his natural with an SCV... he should have gone all over to scout. What is a little missed mining time for a more secure scout.


maru could've double raxed anywhere on the fucking map and still won against a cc first.


As said previously, dont be a greedy ass against someone who has already done 2 all-ins.
Greed = CC first, or not scouting/minimal scouting.

In game 2 he did some weird ass raven first and lost his mine... it was terrible all over.
