He can't even win against foreigners anymore, and even the ZvZ isn't impressive :/
It just feels like there's no real effort put into his play anymore. as long as nestea can win games and come to stuff like this he isn't going to quit playing I imagine, plus Snute is not just some random foreigner he's one of the best in HotS. he also brings a lot of value to IM in terms of experience and advice he can give the younger/newer players I just mean as a player. ofc I'd imagine he'll stay on IM in some capacity. They're doing very well. As a player though, he very rarely does anything as far as foreign tournaments go anyway, and WCS isn't going well for him at all. I'd move on.
Nah man, he's got to stay long enough to out drink every player/caster/personality in esports.

I am happy for him but did not expect that at all. Huk is still pretty damn good. Just because he's not winning tournaments anymore (considering the level of competition, that's hardly surprising) people assume he's in a slump. He's usually one of the highest placing foreigners at major tournaments.
Of course he is still pretty good, but considering who he was able to beat in, let's say in 2011/early2012, and where he nowadays ends up in a lot of tournaments - there are worlds in between.

why stop playing and coach when you can do both though? he probably already does coaching in some capacity and has for a while. I know Hirai mentioned at the GSTL finals that he wasn't able to be around and help the team prepare for the finals because of some personal, issues so I imagine nestea stepped up to take care of that.
I mean you can either be a player and come to cool events like this or be a coach and follow the other players around all day, what would you pick?

Well that's not entirely true. He took 3rd at Iron Squid just this year <_>
but nowadays, I don't even see the strategic brilliance of Nestea anymore. I just mean when you already see Nestea at foreign tournaments and GSTL once every blue moon and the premiere league isn't going well...AND you're about to be a married man, well I'd think now is a good time to hang up the keyboard.
Not hating on the guy, Nestea has always been one of my favorite players but even I can't defend Nestea at this point if that's all he's got. Just seems more logical to transition into something else.

haha, that's exactly what I looked up too... That comment is so stupid. Nestea hasn't been the best player in the world anymore, granted. But he has been a Code S player until 2013 which made him a top10 zerg worldwide.

Is Snute still rumored to have very strong ZvP?

When's the last time he's been mentioned as one of the favorites to win a GSL, or a tournament that isn't riddled with foreigners? There are probably 3+ dozen zergs better than him now, many of which are foreigners...
