Wow I like TLO, Apollo, and Kalearis, but they WAAAAAYYYYY overhyped TLO this game..... MMA crushed so many of his expos, kept his macro up, and took nice engagements, only a few small engages were cost-inefficient for the Terran....
A couple ultras and a decent size muta flock alone just won't cut it, need enough support with ling/banes, or infestors to lock down the bio, so I really don't think TLO was "one good fight" away from taking it, he was struggling to just stay alive after MMA's nice drops.
Also, about their comments in the early game about how "revolutionary" it was for TLO to stick with mass muta/ling/bane over going hive and how MMA shouldn't push out against it....we saw plenty of this in WoL, even if the zerg doesn't get fast hive units, Terran STILL needs to keep pressure up or he'll get overwhelmed by zerg's economy (instead of getting overwhelmed by his tech if the zerg rushes hive - broods in WoL, ultras in HotS), so it was hardly a mistake for MMA to keep pushing and dropping instead of macro'ing up - in this very game we saw that he was able to break TLO's economy Lair play.
All this is imo, of course, not a pro or caster myself obv.

I agree that Apollo is rather biased at times, but I don't think there was much to get excited about for MMA vs TLO in the second game. Just one man's opinion though.
It was just a bad engagement. Hard to get excited about play when 1 player suicides his units into gg.

I think this has little to do with foreigner/korean bias, Apollo and TLO are insanely good friends, and you have to be on a really insane level of professional casting to not let that affect you.

Ironically I think having so many bases hurt TLO. He was too stretched to defend them all. I also thought he could have attacked MMA's main base more with his big muta flock. MMA was pushing out aggressively with his army, TLO being more aggressive with his mutas could have forced MMA back a little. Also burrowing banelings in the middle of the map, would have forced MMA to do scans, which he could ill afford. As MMA's army was mainly marines, burrowed banelings would be something MMA could not afford to walk over.
Entertaining game though.

As a zerg player, there's still this pressure. especially being so spread out with your expansions. But I suppose he could've and should've just macroed up the army. Still, he probably felt behind. He really had no idea if there might might be a ninja expand. Plus couldn't he just float a CC to another expand?

The casters did seem to be saying some odd things at the end there. Was it just my imagination or did Kaelaris question whether MMA had enough anti-air to deal with the mutas when his army consisted of about 50 marines and a ton of widow mines...?
