The Trailer:
The Format:
Icy Cup is a Two Day, 8 player invitational live tournament. Inspired by the style of Home Story cup, players and community members will gather at the luxurious eSports Canada studios for a double elimination tournament.
The Plan:
In order to fund this effort, eSports Canada has created an indiegogo.com fundraiser (which is like a KickStarter that allows friendly Canadians to use it)
Our original goal was $650, but we've thankfully exceeded that due to an outpouring of support.
Further donations will go towards increased prize pool, improvements in production, feeding players better, and possibly buying CombatEx a shirt with sleeves for once.
The Indiegogo campaign can be found at:
Icy Cup 2013
Donations of any size are greatly appreciated and will help us grow this and other events in the future as well as directly support the participating players.
eSports Canada is a non-profit organization.
Time and Location:
July 13th & 14th, Just outside the beautiful Toronto, Canada.
