Seemed like rain couldn't buy a proper engagement It could be that soulkey didn't want to- there's a pretty famous and well-liked game of Rain vs Soulkey (I believe it's their last clash before this one) where both of them play straight up macro games, standard as standard gets, but Rain wins with sheer mechanics and better control (honestly, only innovation beats him in this department these days). | ||

TBH Rain's decisionmaking and crisis management was piss-poor after encountering the ten-pool. Killing a hatch with a pylon + 3x cannon was an even trade at best, and staying outside with the MsC/stalker/zeal in the face of incoming speedlings was just being willfully blind. | ||
