I agree. Other tournaments should take notes, MLG especially.

I think DH can actually make it a bit better. Players still look totally clueless as what to do with the cheques, the star plaque and champagne. Maybe we need something like a victory road. The CEO always has to orchestrate it. Maybe he should prep them prior to the finals as to what is going to happen after one of them win.

Great tournament. Thanks so much Dreamhack! Most of the greatness comes from games, the upsets and underdog stories, but the casters, music and hosts were terrific as well. Can't wait for Valencia!

Had ESL not done a stellar job with it, you might have a point.

Well Dreamhack would probably have done an even better job though.

Dont know about that, they dont really have experience with running a league but if Blizzard lets ESL do the global finals in Europe then they are out of their minds.

Prize pool seems a bit low for a tourney of this calibre, would be my only criticism but I suppose they don't have too much wriggle room in that respect

I wish one of them got to handle WCS AM somehow. They both deserve it, they run great stuff.

I started following him when he beat Flash ages ago.

Literally following him. He had no tweeter back then.

I don't follow.

me too, but that is because getting all the latest "news" of a SC2 Progamer doesn't enrich my day at all.
BUT I am willing to learn and maybe some people can explain me the advantages of adding SC2 Pro's to my list. Besides streams, bc when I have time I watch them anyways so no need to follow SC2 Pros, Hollywood "Stars", Other Sportsmen or Celebrities. But if there is a real benefit, I would like to change the first one.

pretty lackluster tournament in the end. I was quite disapointed by the level of play in the end, sad to have Life lose so early.
Stardust was a nice winner but I feel he just got a great run where he avoided any player that is actually good vs P at the stages it mattered.
For the rest the tournament is well produced but I just don't like the casting/presentation crew they choose. Incontrol is too typical american for my taste and he walks around like some army baboon which looks so silly. Granted he does try to invoke some interesting reactions from the koreans but between translations and their shyness/awkwardness that is a wasted attempt anyway.
Good tournament setup but it didn't work out greatly, surprise winners are fun sometimes but flukes and poor play are just not so much.

he met violet, hyun, jd. there were not many better people at dreamhack (except life maybe) that he could have met. :o who do you mean?

I'm so happy for Stardust. His stream was absolutely amazing, and it was sad to see him get under a 100 viewers at a time.

Holy shit it's M18M. Can't remember who Stardust is after he left the Proleague scene. Grats to him.
