would be funny if Gumiho gets matched up with Life now, he's going to regret not playing for the #1 seed.

i don't think he's going to regret to waste at least 30more minutes, he already played a game where he was uber behind, no need to do that again and better get some rest. we tournaments are a lot about stamina anyway.

this. I'd rather see Gumi throw it now and be on top form tomorrow. It's late and gumi/jaedong probably have replays they want to watch, work out their mistakes, etc

it's fair enough but tourneys need to do something about this meaningless game syndrome that seems to happen a lot
It's called the GSL/WCS/Assembly style dual tournament group.

well if Gumiho gets Life in the first round tomorrow because he ended up 2e in his group, he might have some regrets.

Yeah, that game really makes me uncomfortable. Nothing is going to happen, but Naniwa got screwed hard for an even more meaningless game (this game determined seeding).

I'm not saying we should fine or ban anyone...but eh. Not a great way to cap off a day. Maybe better scheduling in the future?

Its not even close to the same thing. 2 rax is a completely legit strategy, and thats a decent proxy position. Gumiho just wanted the game to be over soon so he went for a strategy that ends fast. Yes he wants to win, but he just doesn't want an hour long macro fest.

Wasn't it just a single rax?
