I know he's never been a real high level Korean Terran, but still... I hope he can get his skill on a higher level again =/

Or maybe Demuslim is pretty good? It seems like there's lots of people that immediately attack the loser of a match instead of congratulating the winner. I didn't see any huge blunders from theSTC in this game that made it look like a major throw. Demuslim just played really good games.

Demuslim lost to Byun 17 times in a row cross server. Demuslim is good, but definitely no where near Code S level. TheSTC used to be up there with Byun, he's just lamenting at how far STC has fallen.

Pretty sure demuslim is British... Have you taken a look at the premier league playoffs? Not a single american player, don't see what there is to be so proud of lol. At least EU actually had some EU players make it through.

Must be nice when there are significantly less Koreans, especially ones that are not as good.

Yeah awful Koreans like mvp , so bad that he just ya know, won the whole thing...

4 Koreans in the European Premier league vs 13 Koreans in the NA Premier league.

Yeah, so much more difficult, right? One good Korean makes the whole league more challenging than competition spread all around, right?

Nice excuses bro. Please explain why 2 non Korean players managed to make it through though, but not a single american. Must be nice living in your fantasy land of bull shit and denial.

So what exactly is your point? That players of the Americas haven't had strong tourney showings?

Byun should be in Code S and (I think) still could be. He barely lost to Rain in GSL up/downs and seems to only have lost due to his anger management issue nearly forcing his eyes to pop out of their sockets in the match. The commentators couldn't stop talking about how tilted he appeared during the series.

Also, Byun used a special type of 1-base build during those 17 matches every single game from which Demuslim was clearly experimenting with finding a counter while allowing him to expand. In only a couple of those matches did he actually attempt to play the same 1-base style against Byun.

Also, Demuslim has adopted the same 1-base build and incorporated it into his own strategies.

Don't think it's fair to judge Demuslim based on the Byun games. He has beaten Byun before and actually streaked against him.

Well this whole back and forth seems to have started with that guy falling for some pretty standard Demuslim/US pride trolling, so I wouldn't take him too seriously.

TheSTC used to be pretty good. He got back to back top 4 finishes at IPL3 and MLG Orlando (3rd place), and was in Code S a few times.

I kind of feel that Complexity kind of let him down, which caused his skills to deteriorate. coL picked up a lot of Koreans, and I have yet to see a single one who got a lot better after joining coL.

My point is simple, Americans have gotten owned so badly in WCS AM yet some fans are talking like they've actually been performing, it was the same in yesterdays thread. They haven't is my point. WCS EU actually had an EU player in the finals, AM have already failed :-)

Some people just want to be super negative. To take a win away by saying someone threw the game, etc. etc. There's a strong "if a Korean ever loses, it's because he threw it and is bad" vibe from ex BW fans.

Americans failed in WCS AM because there was no region lock and it was dominated by Code S/Code A Koreans. End of story. The WCS AM Premier league is probably my least favorite SC2 tournament ever held- it was disgusting.
