You're down 0-3 in a bo7, how the fuck do you focus and convince yourself you can win not only 4 games, but in a row, against someone that just beat you 3 games in a row.. that shit's not easy.

I could swallow the first 3 wins by soulkey but on game 7 it looks like they are going in a macro game and the usual scenari of innovation macroing out with window mines vs ling bane muta is going to happen. but instead he throws away 3 full medivacs and loses. he would have lost to anyone after that mistake, even to any random person on the ladder. how anti climatic.

Source? ![]() I mean, they have good knowledlge about the BW scene, I don't think they'd argue he's a better RTS player than Nada or Flash overall. ![]()

lol I know. Was meant as a joke thus the ![]() On June 02 2013 07:15 TheProphet_ wrote: This needs to be investigated. Innovation sends 3 full medivacs, an amount he doesnt usually drop with, to a location where he knew there was a huge pack of mutas waiting since he had seen it with a viking less than 30 seconds earlier. even thought afterburners regenerate quickly he doesnt have it since he had used it just before, even thought he knew he was dropping in the most dangerous spot on the map. Please stop claiming that it was set up or something. Facts are Innovation was breaking down at this point and made a mistake. I'm a big fan of Innovation but even I can see he started getting desperate and making a lot of mistakes once SK grabbed those two wins to make a game 6, thus the 2 rax. Mistakes happen, so please stop trying to make it seem like Innovation purposely lost those medivacs to give SK the game. It takes away from SK's accomplishment and tarnishes Innovation's name! Edit: Also, since you watched the game, you would know that Innovation's hellbat drop did some damage but not enough and he was falling behind as time passed. He decided on a doom drop to try and inflict enough damage to get back into the game but he misjudged the mutas position.

The studio it was in was completely filled with some standing and I dunno how the TV or Stream numbers in korea were. So probably one of their more successful events if judging by just those numbers alone since on east coast of USA it started at 2am O_O There were probably around 500-600 people in studio. I was lucky enough to be in korea this month so i made it out to the finals. It definitely looks there are more people on the stream. They had two levels of seating, but I didnt see the balcony level. will try to post some pics when I get a chance.

I'll admit its more likely that it wasn't setup than that it was. It definitely could've just been a nervous breakdown. However it just raises a red flag for me that he would do an unusual 3 medivac drop, without afterburner support going in the main base, pathing through a spot where he knew there were about 20 mutas 30 seconds ago. Either way if it really wasn't setup nothing wrong would happen. I'm saying just have a look into it, couldn't hurt right? Not trying to take away from SK. He deserves a lot of credit for going 0-3 and still having the mental fortitude to fight his way back. Like I said its game 7 that bothers me not the others.

Soulkeys mutalisk were on the bottom right side of the map and it appeared that he was going straight for Innovations main base. Seeing Soulkeys mutalisk out of position, Innovation went for the 3 Medivac drop and didn't anticipate that Soulkeys mutalisk would be waiting there. It wasn't a brain fart at all, just a misread from being mind game.
