And I don't think I should do anything to "win" in real life. Sorry for the poor english, I'm not a speaker ^^
The strategy of picking builds in a multiple game series is part of the game, mind games are more important at GSL level than at our mere mortal level.

Haha. this is hilarious, listening to fanboys defending their player. Neither Innovation nor Soulkey played good today, but considering the stage, nerves and all that shit, it turned out pretty good with an historical comeback.
Also its so easy sitting in our chair at home, with our plat/diamond knowledge, and lecture what was really going on in these games. We have no idea what these pros are thinking, and they have a whole team helping them.
Awesome final though, with such a devastating start, making this comeback so sweet. And especially seeing the entire western scene predicting 4-1 for innovation with ease

Yeah, you have to get into regular GSL Code S and perform well there to get into GSL Blizzard Cup. Therefore GSL Blizzard cup does not count as GSL as it is clearly easier. LOL. Or win Dreamhack.
MMA, Leenock, Polt, NesTea, Naniwa, MVP, DRG, Stephano, MC & HerO - Yeah that sure is an easy road to winning the title.

Hint: there was no throw in this series. Any time a better player loses to a less skilled player, it is a throw. Because BOs, timings, and exploiting your opponent's weaknesses are completely irrelevant. I fail to see how Soulkey is a less skilled player than Innovation but eh... Maybe you're all capable of judging the best players in the world's skill levels playing 2 different races.

They might look visibly shaken, but these guys know how to get back up on the bike and ride again. Looking back, I'm glad there was that long-ass break after game 3. That probably gave SK enough time to collect his thoughts and regain composure.

I doubt that anyone thought SK was the favourite before the finals. Still games were not entertaining, I'm happy for SK though, guess I wanted him to win, just not in this kind of fashion. stop trollin dawg. Innovation has one major strength: he doesn't make mistakes. Tonight, he made mistakes. Stop calling trolling reasonable arguments, or should I better point you to how many games has SK won and how many Bogus, should I mention how good Bogus games generally are and how good are SK ones? You've accused GOM of match-fixing, then moved on to saying that INoVation donated Soulkey the win (huh?), then said you wanted Soulkey to win. You have like 4 posts on this account and they've all be horrible. Get out of here with that nonsense. Soulkey has a winning record against Innovation. The more you know. Because I don't know what was the reason for that, it can be either mathcfixing or just a Stork-like first place donation. And yes I wanted SK to win, but I don't believe he won, he looked inferior in three games and even before the finals.
You don't believe he won? He looked inferior in 3 of the 7 games in a Best of 7... so what did he look like in the other 4?

Well until Terrans will play as greedy as 3 CC without a decent supply/tech, you can whine all you want but roach/bling will be standard.

Looks like we need the king of wings to bring terran back to it's former glory
This series was nerve wrecking , but I enjoyed it , even as a terran racist

This is definetely true that mvp is not even code a in korea. His level has fallen right now.. if he go to proleague he would be 2-10 like that

Well said and my thoughts exactly except for your prediction and don't say that's the entire western scene because there are quite a number of guys who didn't write off Sk so fast.

So what happened? Bogus tilted? Or Soulkey just found a way to stop Bogus HPM? So, let me do a recap of the games from another perspective (that is someone who actually likes starcraft): g1 - 2rax 12/12 - pretty intense and fun way to kick things off. g2 - 4base roach hydra vs 3 base 4M - really close game, some back-and-fourth and the best game in the series. g3 - Failed 18-drone ling/bane all-in. Worth watching if you want to see how to defend this kind of rush without a wall. g4 - high-eco roach-ling bust. Insta-kills Innovation. g5 - low-eco roach-ling bust that stops and transitions into a high-eco roach-ling bust. More interesting than g4 but still, very one-sided. g6 - failed 2rax with some nice one-base ling-bling counter-aggression. Pretty fun game. g7 - rather disappointing and one-sided macro game on Daybreak. Soulkey defends nicely, Innovation makes fatal mistakes losing 3 medivacs (or maybe Soulkey baits him there), he is unable to secure his third. Overall stats: 1 very good game (g2) 2 fun games (g1, g6) 3 unremarkable allins(g3, g4,g5) 1 bad macro game (g7) The score is close, the storyline is there but the games (apart from g2) did not deliver IMO.
Thanks for the write up.

innovation threw the series! why didn't u make tank? In both of Soulkey's allin games he saw it too late for tanks to be any better than 2-4 mines. Also, tanks are a lot more expensive in gas, so mines are a lot better for upgrades/medivac production Blind making tanks screws over any aggression attempts earlygame (and, if you overmake them, leads to viper murder). I don't know man. The way MVP played Mech in WCS EU looked pretty impenetrable. Then again, it is map specific. It's better to play safe when you're up 3-0 than to play greedy. Just bad game planning by Innovation.
Eh. Mech is pretty good on akilon because of free 3bases, but stephano's viper use and his engage into the tanks was pretty bad. He abducted the thors before the fight which was nice, but when he attacked the tanks he only blinded 5 of like 12 and charged at them through a way small choke, didn't flank or anything... and he only had 3 vipers total.

Game 7 wasn't bad, it was probably the best one to watch out of all of them. Soulkey Innovationed Innovation.

What? They are the best players of 2011 - aside from maybe Naniwa and HerO (but both were looking strong at the time)
