We'll find out next weekend if he's on the right path for that title though.

Yeah, you have to get into regular GSL Code S and perform well there to get into GSL Blizzard Cup. Therefore GSL Blizzard cup does not count as GSL as it is clearly easier. LOL. Or win Dreamhack. MMA, Leenock, Polt, NesTea, Naniwa, MVP, DRG, Stephano, MC & HerO - Yeah that sure is an easy road to winning the title. If you're being sarcastic - That list IS much easier than a GSL road to winning the title (unless you're symbol prior to meeting innovation). What? They are the best players of 2011 - aside from maybe Naniwa and HerO (but both were looking strong at the time) 2011 was almost 2 years ago... Thanks for letting me know, you probably should have realised that we were talking about the Blizzard Cup in 2011 being a legitimate GSL title before commenting I guess.
Well, I stated the obvious because some people keep expecting champions of 2011 to perform today as they did back then. I also didn't know if you were being sarcastic or not (as stated in my initial response).

Innovation's macro is scary good and his micro/splits are off the chart. Definitely the best(or tied for best). SK realized that he needed to do something to put some doubt into Innovation's mind and he needed something that exploited Innovation's weakness. What is innovation's weakness you say? He uses a greedy strat in the beginning to get into a strong late game position.
Once SK all-in'd the first, he probably thought that Innovation wouldn't think he'll do it again so he did and won the second game. At this point, Innovation started doubting that he can win and he decided to try a 2 rax. Whether SK figured that Innovation will try some insane strat to win or he just decided to play more safe and scout around catching it in its midst is unknown but he made a good decision. Once Innovation got completely rattled, he lost his composure and lost in the kind of game he would win in, the macro game. Innovation also seems to have a limited amount of strats that he knows so hopefully he starts to expand, maybe a reaper or banshee etc...

So what happened? Bogus tilted? Or Soulkey just found a way to stop Bogus HPM? Both.

Come on guys, Innovation is not overrated :D He's still a godly Terran. I swear man, people have been calling him a joke or a terrible player for making some gambles/mistakes in a GSL Finals against one of the best Zergs in the world. Likewise when Innovation won the first games, some people were calling Soulkey a terrible player. They don't look so smart anymore, do they?

Also, seems Innovation might be slightly overrated in the foreign community. Nevertheless, he'll be a champion one day for sure.
LOL first of all. Maybe you should check his recent stats in pro league, look at his vs Z record minus vs Soulkey, and also keep in mind that he is the GSL runner up and made it to the ro4 last GSL before calling someone slightly overrated.

i feel like innovation could have atleast tried some games with tanks after being up 3-0. He only had to win one more game. Pulling off a second proxy rax game probably destroyed him mentally for game 7. I think that was his last resort to winning the series

Congrats to SK, I know it would be close series but didn't expect a 4-0 reverse. :D

Awesome finals, that comeback. So rare.

It's impressive his account is that old and he only posts to say that. Impressive indeed.
yeah, but he can say it all he wants now, because soon we will KNOW, and if, as i hope, Mvp does really well, and i am not saying he will, just that i hope it (as a fan), he will look mighty stupid for just bashing Mvp, the player who has achieved the most in sc2, got called dead and done several times, yet comes back and wins championships.

Btw i liked how Soulkey destroyed the 3rd CC of Innovation with banelings in the last game. I totally did not expect that, must have caught innovation off-guard as well. It is not something you see that often, most of the time they try to kill scvs/units

Looks like the Terran throne is still haunted by Mvp's ghost even a year later. None have proven worthy to take it for themselves.

tastyminerals was just banned by KadaverBB.
That account was created on 2013-06-01 18:09:21 and had 7 posts.
Reason: PBU. Here is a hint, if you want to go unnoticed as a PBU don't start talking about match fixing... He can't reply...for good.
