And? If it's factual, what's the problem? Besides the 2-10 since that's hypothetical.

I doubt that anyone thought SK was the favourite before the finals. Still games were not entertaining, I'm happy for SK though, guess I wanted him to win, just not in this kind of fashion. stop trollin dawg. Innovation has one major strength: he doesn't make mistakes. Tonight, he made mistakes. Stop calling trolling reasonable arguments, or should I better point you to how many games has SK won and how many Bogus, should I mention how good Bogus games generally are and how good are SK ones? You have 4 posts, all of them are completely ridiculous. It's pretty safe to say that you are a troll. If you arent, then god have mercy on your soul. I would like to hear your explanation on why were they ridiculous. Or is it forbidden to think that the finals were rigged just because it ruins all your fun ppl? Well that is an opinion and it is not based on some nonsense. Can you provide logical arguments why a player that clearly dominates 3 games in a row suddenly plays badly 4 games in a row looking absolutely content after that, even smiling, lol? That is all very debatable, so just bear with my opinion please.
The chances of either thing happening are too low to be accounted for. But well, it feels wrong when you see absolute superiority for 3 games and then ... INnoVation lost more here and more often than in his whole HOTS career. Anyways, he can choke, he can become bad, and can lose, quite improbable but feasible.
Last game was bad luck imo though, losing the 3rd CC and then then 3 medivacs those 2 events cost him the game, and the championship.
There is still WCS world finals, there we will see what's he's made of.

This throws everything into wack as to who is the best player in the world. We need a hero to arise and take the throne. We need a player who never fades. Who always stands back up and manages to win the big one. A most valuable player. A... MVP.

Blizzard cup is not gsl. Get over it...
lol Blizzard cups count as GSL. Since when? Since it is http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2012_GSL_Blizzard_Cup Well they are named the same but they hardly compare to each other in terms of format and hardness. Yeah, you have to get into regular GSL Code S and perform well there to get into GSL Blizzard Cup. Therefore GSL Blizzard cup does not count as GSL as it is clearly easier. LOL. Or win Dreamhack. MMA, Leenock, Polt, NesTea, Naniwa, MVP, DRG, Stephano, MC & HerO - Yeah that sure is an easy road to winning the title. If you're being sarcastic - That list IS much easier than a GSL road to winning the title (unless you're symbol prior to meeting innovation). What? They are the best players of 2011 - aside from maybe Naniwa and HerO (but both were looking strong at the time)
2011 was almost 2 years ago...

I went to work with Innovation up 3-2 but looking clueless against roach/bane busts. Did Soulkey just hit him with two more and finish it off or what?

I still think Innovation might be the better player, but I think losing a 3-0 lead rattled him a bit. And you have to give Soulkey credit for hanging in there and not buckling under the pressure. My thoughts exactly.

Innovation aside, I think Flash has so much raw potential in him that he could very well win some GSLs in the near future and dominate like SUPER HARD. He's pretty much on par with Innovation (slighty less micro-ish, better decision-making-ish maybe? :D), but still seems to be growing each time he plays in Proleague. Really impressive player as well. And it's not like he will "choke" in finals :p

Thanks for letting me know, you probably should have realised that we were talking about the Blizzard Cup in 2011 being a legitimate GSL title before commenting I guess.

Even though SK won, I'm hard-pressed to call him the best player in the world.

Making a few tanks early in the series to show the "willingness" wouldn't hurt, especially in Bo7. Showing a single tank in G1 could prevent all roach baneling attacks for the rest of the series. There is no reason not to roach bane attack if opponent Terran never makes a tank. It's very powerful.

Yeah he made too many mistakes in the semis and finals, he dropped so many games to silly mistakes. He's going to have to continue to prove himself if he wants that title.
|
Innovation's reluctance to build tanks to defend cost him the games I guess. Mines just aren't as effective in defending when the zerg knows how to deal with them. I suspect a player like MVP would be able to make such an adjustment to his play between the games, Innovation couldn't.
Also, seems Innovation might be slightly overrated in the foreign community. Nevertheless, he'll be a champion one day for sure.
