There are basically no top NA terrans from NA that can compete at the highest level. Demuslim is by far the best and obviously he is from Europe.
Whatever happened to Illusion?

Major and Illusion are the only two NA Terrans who can compete at the international level, but obviously neither of them made the tournament for whatever reason.

Minigun plays State next. The finals aren't today so there is no possibility of Kane vs Minigun today.

Wasn't Illusion playing on a barcode or something, so he was ineligible?

you think so? ugh, how long is that going to continue to be an issue in this community.
You realize DDoS attacks are an issue overall, not just in this community right? And there isn't very much that you can do other than be on good terms with your ISP and have a lot of bandwidth. Lol.
In case of ddos, they should use Google Hangout. You only need a Google account to use it, it's free, the sound quality is much better, and you don't need as much resources to use it (given that you already have a browser open).
Edit: Not only in case of ddos. They should use Google Hangout no matter what. It's MUCH better than Skype.

I don't think the main problem is with Skype, getting DDOSed affects every other player who is in the game. I think TB would've been content to put up with robotic-day9 if the players were not experiencing any lag.

That's a good idea. If you suspect ddos, restart your modem to get a new ip then use any other voip than skype. That should stop any ddos. (I'm no expert -- this is just from what I've read.)

I know, I just wanted to say it. Sound quality would really improve on streams if more people would use Google Hangout instead of Skype.

Don't forget to find blurry pictures of the hacker's personal information and enhance multiple times making them crystal clear. Then just google a java html and keylog into the windows flashdrive C++ algorithm.

Yes and they might have to engage the DDoS'er head on in a hacking duel by jointly spamming their keyboard with commands in leetspeek.
Nah, it's not a DDOS. We take reasonable measures against that plus we know for a fact what caused each outage and it's mostly Time Warners incompetence.

I'm thinking about downloading some more HD space as well, you know to make my CPU go faster
Really People actually think its some sort of attack on TB?
A bit more to the truth might be, that despite "TB having more Youtube Money than god"he still lives in a place were Internet is terrible. That might have something to do with his provider TWC or just his living area in general.
But I noticed that multiple Times like even on TGS Podcast when TB hosts sometimes there are problems, however when someone else hosted the show everything runs fine.
I don't think there is anything you can do, it sucks cause it affects ShoutCraft now.
My own thoughts for a long time have been that the Internet as the entity has reached its capacities a long time ago and the more we strain it the closer we get to a eventual collapse. Its worldwide just too badly developed in general but Company's waste their efforts rather on developing City wide High Speed Internet than moving the global coverage along. IPv4 Adresses are already all sold out and the IPv6 smooth transition will not happen cause its costs the provider too much and they are not willing to do it yet.

yes freezes every couple of seconds for me on the lowest quality, quite unwatchable really, everytime something happens its cleared up when the screen flicks back. sih

Yes, WoL ZvZ was better to watch I think.
Btw the stream is horrible, so many lags
The style is even better now with the nerfed infestor, cause it's not 1000 infested terrans on both sides and fungals are more interesting
I would be mad if Kane loses because I know its only because he completely lost all psychological advantage from Gosuuser going off tilt and focusing on what he needed to do.

The last game between NesTea and DRG in the Iron Squid 2 semifinal was legendary to be honest. A billion infested terrans + brood lords. :p

Please do something about the lags. Please, please, please. It's impossible to enjoy. Same here, only on 360 or lower I can avoid the lag stutter. Which is weird because I watch everything on the highest resolution available without a hickup.. Such a great tournament tho

I'm not getting any lag on 720. Maybe it's another EU Twitch problem?

Disappointed that Kane decided to all-in again after his initial attack succeeded in doing damage, and refraining from finishing off the lair. Had he destroyed the main hatchery, gowser would've had his roach speed delayed for an extremely long time.
And once again I've missed a lot of the broadcast.
Call me an idiot, but I can't find a schedule anywhere on TL or on the shoutcraft website or Liquipedia, and 85 minutes' notice on Reddit isn't good enough. A schedule published in advance would be nice.

More that he's beating everyone else and advanced the furthest of any protoss, with none of the major NA protoss being left out off the top of my head.
Who would you say is better as a NA toss? Maybe HuK? I guess he wasnt in this tournament. But his play has been fluctuating a lot lately so it's hard to say.
Luck is not having to face state. Personally, I find there to be less luck in p vs p than other p mu's. The mothership core basically allows you to survive the early game and go all tech routes, so it's hard to lose a rock, paper, scissors contest when you get to choose all options.
Great casting too. The TB/Day9 combo was really cool, I like the way TB's professionalism and Day9's goofiness play off each other for a very enjoyable casting experience.
So many twitch streams are laggy so often. Imagine if television was like this, people would never actually watch television. I wonder how many viewers this has cost twitch over the years.
