I think people are probably being overly harsh on the guy, but it just always seems to be "so lets go to social media", "what's up" "not much" "okay good to know". I'm not against filling in time, but I'd think him reading questions from #wcs or maybe writing down questions from TL/Reddit and asking Kaelaris/Apollo while we wait for players to get ready. It's a nice idea, but atm I don't feel like it is adding anything at all. Dunno, feels like it has turned into an unintentional troll segment.
The whole social media "let's ask our viewers what they think so they can entertain each other and we don't have to plan anything special" -thing has become quite a trend. Not just in eSports but feels like every live thing nowadays has to have twitter feed thing going on. It's much easier to ask viewers to comment on twitter and then showing thoset tweets rather than actually planning some proper content during the breaks.

Is there such thing as a Spanish banjo ? First news for me.

I wonder if Lucifron knows what the term banjo means or if he's sitting there wondering what the fuck Redeye is talking about

He'll just invite Haypro to come with him

Most esport events just have crowd shots, which is just quite boring and brings the... mood down. If twitter is handled well, picking relevant questions or discussions, it can be a decent filler, atleast for esport standards. It just hasn't yet brought any value to the stream imo and could be handled better imo to give the segment some relevance to the games played, sc2 or just esports.

"that guy" is annoying as fuck. and i rarely get annoyed by casters or anyone, just once every 6 months. but now, wow.

Mostly because what you think is spanish culture, really isn't. Flamenco is not that big of a deal outside the southern region.
