I'm just glad to see that lately both Grubby and Demuslim have been getting more viewers than Idra. Two of the most likely guys in the community that deserves all the love in the world.

IdrA confirmed to be... a person.
This mindset is going to backfire on him, I mean even in terms of viewership. He's created great drama, now use it and win! Entertainers working there way to the top will always outlast entertainers that are stuck at the bottom. He's throwing away incredible built up for this belief of his. People were drooling at the mouth to have the old Idra back and I guess will see if letting them down going back to his ways will really blow up his stream count..
Edit: And now that I think of it, his words aren't even entirely true. After Stephano's amazing runs his viewer count was out of the park every time he streamed, even with the diverse group I'm sure he gets having to bare through his country music. I remember how excited I was for Puma to stream when he won NASL but he just never did besides maybe once. It might not be everyone but there's tons of examples where people's viewer count blows up after a tournament win.

wow idra so bad, he should just stop playing sc2

I just hope next season that invite goes to somebody who actually wants to play in tournaments.
Not Idra.
edit: It's really not fair to other players who actually respect the game and respect competition.

Idra being invited to this is a joke. People need to stop watching his stream so he gets the message.
I feel like people watch Idra because his play and personality are essentially a train-wreck, and those who enjoy watching him are really just wanting to listen to a troll do his thing instead of seeing some good starcraft.

Well it depends on how we define gutter I guess. As results go, you are quite right, but if we look at earnings I'd wager Idra still does very well for himself.
I hope this doesn't come across as me gloating or revelling in schadenfreude, I am legitimately angry and disappointed.

Fair enough, but I'll also gladly piss on someone who jumps in the gutter when he has no business being there.

It was textbook, perfect ZvT, till he just... collapsed. Sigh. he didn't engaged really well, he just had more stuff, because he went to 4 bases uncontested to comment on the person above to lazy to find his reply. Stephano during his wcs video interview(might have been in a private conversation with babyk) or w/e called babyk bad and he didnt deserve the win read about it here: https://twitter.com/NaViBabyKnight In which Nightend proves once again that he is one of the very few people I know who are undisputably awesome. Can a zerg explain to me why revival didn't make a bling nest? He was going lair, but wouldn't it have been more economic to make the bling nest and a few blings to be able to get 3rd and 4th gas without those pesky lings? (I'm assuming he was planning to go mutas)

Too bad that that's called match fixing and is generally illegal. Let's not throw wild accusations here. Plus be honest, IdrA is unable to win against good players anymore. You can't participate in match-fixing if none believes you can actually win.

I have a feeling EG will terminate Idra's contract ASAP. Or they should...it's one thing to perform poorly, it's a whole other thing to be what he's become. An absolute joke who's attitude won't even allow him to compete. It makes all of EG look bad.

As it happens IdrA has BM'd them both. I think it's some kind of clash of ideologies. He has a pessimistic, probably nihilistic, world view, and it just makes him mad to see other people who seem genuinely happy.

Idra has found his niche and is exploiting it, I believe this is just a shtick to him. Wikipedia this guy named Andy Kaufman. He is a US comedian who created a bunch of controversies to get fans and publicity all playing as this character of a naive immigrant. I believe that Idra is just playing this same game with us to get viewers and money. Its really sad that he cannot see the value in winning because he shows that he had the skill to beat Polt but decided enough was enough and went into Idra mode, leading Polt on the hook before reeling him in with the "OMG Ragequit lulz".
EG loves it because he brings them in a marketable clown who makes us laugh. That's all he is that's some performer for our amusement creating little controversies and we talk and talk about him.
His point is true, he gets talked about much more than others who have won tournaments and makes enough to earn a living while having massive eFame. I think to him the disrespect is worth it too him. Like a pratfall comedian shamelessly crashing a opera by throwing mud on himself while making oinking sounds we pay attention.
We let him beat us, its now time to ignore the clown forever or else it will profit off our attention. Get a real job Idra.
