Just wondering, but does Gumiho mech in TvZ these days?

I skipped out on DH so didn't watch his games. =[

He lost so fast vs Leenock and JD, but I don' recall him going for mech in any of those games. He went standard vs bly.

How the hell would Yoda Flying Roro and Soulkey get more than Losira Symbol Gumibear and (eh, soo)

Yoda: quiet terran who is worse than MVP and has NO personality (yes i know not recently, MVP isnt as good)
Flying: who? a protoss
Roro: any non-bw fan would not even care
Soulkey: good zerg but no personality

Losira: gsl finalist to Nestea, people probably know his fast fingers video more than any of group A
Symbol: all kill vs IM, has tons of fans
Gumibear: tons of fans, fan playstyle, towel terran
soo: ignore him

Roro? The Reigning GSL Code S Champion? Would not even care? i don't care what you say about balance at the end of WoL, winning a GSL is the hardest thing to do in Starcraft and it only keeps getting harder. Also I guess you don't watch proleague or you would know Soulkey's interview with Zero is hilarious.

Symbol 2:0 soO

KangHo 2:0 GuMiho

Symbol 2:1 KangHo

soO 0:2 GuMiho

GuMiho 1:2 Losira

either that or gumiho beats losira but then they meet again on the final match and losira advances.

truth is:

symbol wont lose zvt
losira vs gumiho will be close
symbol will advance for sure
second place between losira and gumiho

soO must die

Yoda: IEM winner, first HotS champion.
Flying: A protoss. Adds diversity to the group (PTZZ as opposed to tonights ZZZT group)
Roro: Kespa monster. Last GSL champion
Soulkey: Incredible zerg who is also a kespa player

Losira: a GSL has been (ask a random guy on TL who Kangho is and they'll say who)
Symbol: Pretty decent zerg, made it to the finals last year
Gumiho: He has a towel
Soo: who?

I'd expect this group to get less simply for the fact of the racial distribution. 3 zergs and 1 terran.

TvZ much more fun to watch than any PvZ or ZvZ from group A though, and imo gumiho is more popular than anyone in group A. losira also has the "old man fighting" thing going for him, "can the has-been finalist return to glory" story

Skill difference between these two groups is too huge to ignore. Let's just find out who's the luckiest player in Ro16 today.

You give more credit to Losira got being a GSL finalist than Roro for being an actual champion? Losira became irrelevant in the scene after that final that was almost 2 years ago. Getting an allkill god knows knows how long ago doesn't really "guarantee more viewers than 'that' other group". I'm actually surprised you remember such a thing, because most people don't. I could talk about each point you made, but you're obviously very bias, and would be wasting my time. A 3 zerg group is uninteresting for the vast majority of people, regardless of who you're a fan of.
Refer to my post.

I'd like to use this post to point how different Leenock and Gumiho look than they did two plus years ago. They used to look like twins. Exactly the fucking same. Now they've totally gone two different ways look wise.

Group A didn't have a single ZvZ. It had 2 TvZs and 3 PvZ. I think ultimately it comes down to personally preference as to which match-ups you want to see but I think we will see quite a bit ZvZ tonights.

Group A also had 2 returning champions (Yoda with IEM and Roro with GSL) so that was interesting to see.

Just my 2 cents

I know ;(

now I can't do that lame joke about this being an all ZvZ group or vice-versa if Leenock is playing..

Outcome depends totally on how Gumiho is playing tonight: Is he the Gumiho the unstoppable beast, microing perfectly in 800 billion locations at once while punching through the screen into the other guy's face? Or is he Gumiho the mortal, the sweaty-palmed dork who's just more or less "on par" with the rest?

lol two of the three best zergs in the world were in the other group, a strong and intelligent protoss and a terran that many have very high hopes for. The only player who I have been impressed by recently in this group is soO (maybe), and even he is not very good. I guess a lot of people think Gumiho is good too, but I've only seen him picked apart by Jaedong recently.

soo and losira! I'm certain that soo will advance, but losira is questionable. He can be good, but most of the time doesn't deliver.

Sure, if you only pay attention to KeSPA and nothing else. Gumiho recently got top 8 at Dreamhack, his first ever international offline event. Both he and Symbol have been showing much better form than SoO lately, and Losira is up there too.

Hopefully Gumiho wins vs Kangho and loses to Symbol in winner round. That would make this group much more exciting.
